  • 5% is currently paid out on all product sales excluding VAT (3% for discount affiliates) but Hampton and Astley encourage affiliate partners to contact us for additional incentives

Cookie period

  • Hampton and Astley offer a 30 day cookie period to all affiliate partners

Domains

  • Affiliate partners are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word or words ‘Hampton and Astley’ or derivatives and misspellings of these words in the URL. E.g. http://hamptonandashley.affiliate.com
  •  
  • Affiliate partners must not include Hampton and Astley brand terms, or derivatives and misspellings of in the sub-domain of their website’s URL. E.g. http://hamptonandastley.affiliate.com.
  •  
  • Affiliate partners may use correctly spelt Hampton and Astley brand terms after the domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://www.affiliate.com/hamptonandastley.
  •  
  • Affiliate partners are not permitted to use any domains owned by Hampton and Astley as their display URL without express written permission.
  •  
  • Any affiliate partner wishing to construct a landing page on their site featuring Hampton and Astley should first contact us for pre-approval.
  •  
  • If any affiliate partner does not abide by these rules then it may result in their commissions being set to zero and the suspension or termination of an affiliate's agreement with Hampton and Astley.

Social media

  • Affiliate partners are not allowed to register the brand Hampton and Astley or any derivative and misspelling of it on any social media platform.
  •  
  • This includes and does not limit to ‘brand + generic word or sentence’ as well ‘generic word or sentence + brand’. E.g. ‘Hampton and Astley towels’, ‘Towels by Hampton and Astley’.
  •  
  • Any attempt to register such social media accounts will be a direct breach of the Awin terms and conditions, in particular: Intellectual property rights of the Awin code of conduct.
  •  
  • Affiliate partners must not post on any official Hampton and Astley social media platform with the intent of driving visitors to their webpage.
  •  
  • Hampton and Astley social media platforms include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest
  •  
  • Direct linking to Hampton and Astley websites from paid social media is prohibited.
  •  
  • Any affiliate partners who do not abide by these rules risk having their commissions set to zero and possible suspension.
  •  
  • Please note if you wish to use affiliate links within your social media content. E.g. Instagram stories and posts, you will need to use #ad in each instance otherwise risk an ASA compliant that Hampton and Astley does not condone.

Organic search

  • Hampton and Astley are happy for affiliates to optimise their sites for the correct spelling of the brand term Hampton and Astley. Such optimisation should not include misspellings in page titles, metatags, etc. 

PPC

  • Commissions will not be paid where there is evidence of any paid search activity on brand terms without prior authorisation.

  • This includes permutations, misspellings and broad matches containing brand terms (generic is fine).
  •  
  • PPC bidding restrictions also apply on Google Shopping/CSS (Comparison Shopping Service). We request all brand keywords, including permutations and misspellings are excluded from CSS activity.

Discount codes

  • Hampton and Astley encourage affiliates to contact us for exclusive voucher/discount codes and additional incentives.
  •  
  • Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Hampton and Astley affiliate programme.
  •  
  • Hampton and Astley reserves the right to withhold payment of commission if unauthorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.
  •  
  • We appreciate that consumers may use voucher codes that they have found via a site other than that which is awarded the sale and this will be investigated before decisions on commission payment are made.
  •  
  • Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes risk having their commissions set to zero and possible suspension.
  •  
  • Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this due date unless you are advised otherwise by Hampton and Astley.
  •  
  • Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.
  •  
  • Please also ensure that you observe IAB voucher code best practice guidelines.

Toolbar affiliates

  • Hampton and Astley do not allow toolbar affiliates onto their programme.

Email marketing

  • Any affiliate wishing to promote Hampton and Astley by email marketing must first contact us for pre-approval.

Creative

  • Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Affiliate program interface without prior written permission. Out of date/redundant creative is expressly forbidden.

  • In order to allow for automatic updates to uploaded banners to take place, affiliates are requested not to hardcode banners.
