Programme Restrictions
Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word 'Wickes' or misspellings of 'Wickes' in the URL. For example, www.wickrs.co.uk.
Affiliates must not include Wickes Brand Terms, or misspelt variations of the same, in the subfolders of their website’s URL (for example: http://wickes.affiliate.com).
Affiliates must not include Wickes Brand Terms, or misspelt variations of the same, in the subdomain of their website’s URL (for example: http://www.wickes.affiliatesite.com).
PPC Policy
Brand bidding, along with permutations, is not permitted on any search engine, (no problem with generic).
Affiliates should add as a negative keyword all brand terms and misspellings which include but are not limited to: wickes, wickes diy, wickes decking, wickes tiles, wickes flooring, wickes.co.uk, wickes building supplies.
Please do not use "tm" or the word "official" in your advertisements.
Affiliates are also asked not to bid directly on competitions brand, including BQ, Screwfix, Homebase, Machine Mart etc.
We may occasionally allow affiliates to bid on brand names in PPC for a specified period of time. Any bidding on non-agreed terms, or agreed terms outside the agreed period will result in non-payment of commissions and potential removal from the programme.
Voucher Code Policy
If the customer uses a voucher code that was not allocated to the affiliate channel during their purchase, then this sale will be declined. Any affiliate displaying an unauthorised voucher code on their site will have any sales generated via this voucher code declined.
Google Base (formerly Froogle)
Affiliates may not submit links to Wickes products on Google Base.
Any affiliate found breaking the aforementioned Programme Restrictions risks suspension from the programme and losing any commissions accrued.
Cancelled Orders
Any cancelled orders will result in non-payment of commission. A cancelled order can constitute one of the following, fraudulent transaction or pre-dispatch cancellation.
Commission
As part of a strategic review at the beginning of the year, Wickes took the decision to consistently reward sales based on a last-click attribution model minus VAT and delivery charges. We now reward on a last-click basis and de-dupe against all other channels.
