Terms & Conditions
These terms & conditions govern the relationship between affiliate publishers (‘you’) and Jewellerybox Ltd (‘jewellerybox’) with respect to the jewellerybox affiliate programme offered by AWIN. Prospective affiliates may apply to join the jewellerybox affiliate programme and must be approved by Jewellerybox. If your application is approved you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time.
Commission, Validation & Exclusions
Jewellerybox will pay you the following commissions as a percentage of net (e.g. ex-VAT) order value less the cost of shipping:
- 10% for new customers
- 3% for existing customers
For the avoidance of doubt an ‘existing customer’ is any customer who, at the time the order is placed, has previously ordered from jewellerybox, or has previously joined the jewellerybox mailing list. Commission will be paid on non-cancelled and non-returned orders only.
Jewellerybox maintains a 30-day returns policy, and it is therefore not possible to validate commissions until after this period. Jewellerybox will use commercially reasonable endeavours to validate and pay commission promptly after 45 days. Jewellerybox reserves the right to set-off and claw-back any commission paid on orders which are returned beyond 30 days.
Jewellerybox will not pay commission on any orders to purchase or spend gift vouchers. Jewellerybox will not pay any commission on orders which appear to have been made fraudulently, or which appear to result from your breach of these terms, at jewellerybox’s sole discretion acting reasonably.
Creatives & Logos
You may use the creatives and logos as provided by jewellerybox from time to time. You may not alter, amend, or re-size any of the creatives in any way. You may not try to emulate jewellerybox creatives with similar banners or fonts.
You may not hardcode banners into your site, thereby allowing jewellerybox to update creatives on your behalf.
Pay-Per-Click Search & Shopping Ads
You may promote jewellerybox on any major search engine via PPC subject to the explicit consent of jewellerybox, which may be revoked at any time, provided that you adhere to the following rules:
- You shall add the following broad-match negative keywords: “jewellerybox.co.uk”, “jewellerybox.com”, ”jewellerybox”, “jewellery box”, “jewellerybox uk”, “jewellery box uk”
- You shall not bid on the words “jewellerybox” “jewellery box” or any close derivatives, extensions or misspellings
- You may not direct traffic direct to the jewellerybox website without explicit consent of jewellerybox
- You shall not use “jewellerybox”, “jewellery box” or any close derivatives, extensions or misspellings in the text, title or display url of any ad
Landing Pages General
Where you seek to promote jewellerybox via a landing page on your own website you must adhere to the following rules:
- Your landing page may not contain “jewellerybox”, “jewellery box” or any close derivatives, extensions or misspellings in the url, or sub folders of the display url (e.g. jewellerybox.affiliate.com, affiliate.com/jewellerybox.co.uk or affiliate.com/jewellery-deals/jewellerybox.co.uk)
- You may not include contain “jewellerybox”, “jewellery box” or any close derivatives, extensions or misspellings in the meta details of the url, including the meta title.
- You must not pass yourself off as jewellerybox
I-Frames
You may not put jewellerybox website into frames or masked urls.
Cash-Back Sites
The affiliate programme is currently closed to cash-back sites. You may not promote jewellerybox via a cash-back site.
Voucher Sites
You may promote jewellerybox via voucher sites subject to the express permission of jewellerybox, which may be revoked at any time. You may not promote jewellerybox offering any form of promotion, deal or discount which has not been exclusively provided to you by jewellerybox.
You will not partake in click-to-reveal promotions for jewellerybox, nor mislead customers in any way.
General
You are at all times reminded of the principles of AIB UK and the ASA Codes of Advertising Practice with regard to affiliate marketing. In particular you warrant and represent that:
- you will promote jewellerybox in a fair and honest manner;
- all information you provide about jewellerybox, its products or offerings, is factually correct;
- you will not mislead consumers about the price, discount, product specifications or images of any jewellerybox product or offering;
- you will at no time hold yourself out to be jewellerybox, in any way endorsed by jewellerybox, or to be acting in any capacity other than as an independent advertiser of jewellerybox;
- you will not promote jewellerybox on any sites which provide pornographic or violent content, or content which promotes religious or political hatred;
- you will not use sub-affiliates, or other affiliate networks to promote jewellerybox; and
- you will not bring jewellerybox in to disrepute in anyway.
From time to time jewellerybox may experience technical glitches and pricing and product specification errors in its product data feed. Jewellerybox will use commercially reasonable endeavours to amend these errors where they are brought to the attention of jewellerybox within a reasonable time scale. Jewellerybox will not be liable for any errors in its product data feed or any down time of its website. Jewellerybox’s total liability to you (other than for its fraud, or death or personal injury caused by jewellerybox) shall be capped at the total aggregate outstanding commission owed and payable to you for validated orders.
Jewellerybox will not share the personal data of its customers with you, or any affiliate publisher. You are the data controller of any personal data you process in relation to the jewellerybox affiliate programme. You must at all times abide by the relevant obligations placed on you by the General Data Protection Regulations and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as varied from time to time.
Jewellerybox reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions without notice.
