By using the Clean Me Marketplace Ltd mobile car valeting booking app (“the App”) or the website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App or website.
Service Description
Clean Me Marketplace Ltd provides a platform through its App and website for users to book mobile car valeting and carpet cleaning services to their preferred location. The mobile washers (“operators”) who sign up for the App are responsible for providing the services. All operators are required to be insured.
Liability for Damages
Clean Me Marketplace Ltd is not liable for any damages that may occur to a person’s car or property as a result of a service booked through the App or website. The responsibility for any damages caused during the service lies solely with the operator. Users should inspect their vehicles before and after the clean to identify any potential issues.
Booking and Payment
Users can book mobile car valeting services through the App or website. Payments for the services are processed through the App’s or website’s payment gateway. Clean Me Marketplace Ltd is not responsible for any payment issues, disputes, or unauthorised transactions that may arise during the payment process.
Cancellations and Refunds
Users may cancel their bookings according to the cancellation policy outlined in the App or website. Customers will receive a full refund if their booking was not accepted and a partial refund if their booking was accepted but cancelled. Refund policies are subject to the terms set forth by Clean Me Marketplace Ltd and may vary based on specific circumstances.
User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when booking cleaninng services through the App or website. Any false or misleading information may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Operators on the App must not exchange contact details with the customer, and all communications with the customer must stay within the App or website. Sharing of phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, or websites is not permitted and may result in a permanent ban from the platform.
Operators must ensure that all information provided to Clean Me Marketplace Ltd, including but not limited to insurance details and business information, is accurate, complete and up to date at all times.
Account Bans and Restrictions
Clean Me Marketplace Ltd reserves the right to ban or restrict a user’s or operator’s account for any of the following reasons, including but not limited to:
• Repeat cancellations of bookings.
• Providing contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, or websites to bypass communication on the platform.
• Breaching any of the User Responsibilities outlined in these Terms or other App or website policies.
Operators will be permanently banned from the platform if they are found to have committed fraud. Fraud includes, but is not limited to:
• Providing false, inaccurate or misleading insurance details.
• Providing false or misleading business information.
• Impersonating another company or individual.
• Marking a booking as complete without carrying out the service.
Users or operators whose accounts are restricted or banned will be notified via the App or website, and decisions regarding bans are final.
Operator Charges and Penalties
Clean Me Marketplace Ltd reserves the right to charge operators in the following circumstances:
• Failure to accept a booking resulting in the booking automatically cancelling will result in a charge equal to 25% of the booking value.
• If a customer cancels a booking due to the operator failing to attend the scheduled appointment, the operator will be charged 25% of the booking value.
• If an operator falsely marks a booking as complete without carrying out the service, the operator will be charged 50% of the booking value.
These charges may be deducted from the operator’s account balance or processed via the payment method on file.
Intellectual Property
The App and website, including their content and design, are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to Clean Me Marketplace Ltd. Users and operators are prohibited from copying, modifying, or distributing any part of the App, website or content without explicit permission.
Privacy
Clean Me Marketplace Ltd respects user privacy and follows applicable data protection laws. Please refer to the Privacy Policy on the website for more information about data collection, usage and protection.
Disputes
a. If you wish to raise a dispute in respect of a completed booking, you must do so via the orders screen in the App or the orders page on the website. Select your booking, then choose “Dispute” and select the reason for your dispute. You must upload photographic evidence when submitting your dispute.
b. You must submit your dispute within 48 hours of the booking being completed. After 48 hours have passed you will no longer be able to raise a dispute.
c. Any complaints between the operator and the vehicle owner will need to be resolved between the parties, with a mediator used if required. The company will not act on either parties’ behalf to mitigate any potential complaint.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
