Welcome to the Charcoal Clothing Affiliate Programme.
Founded in Australia in 2016, Charcoal Clothing is a contemporary womenswear brand focused on elevated, wearable pieces designed for the modern woman. We partner with carefully selected publishers and affiliate partners who align with our brand values, aesthetic, and customer experience.
By participating in the Charcoal Clothing Affiliate Programme, partners agree to comply with the following programme terms and conditions.
Programme Overview
- Commission is payable only on tracked, validated, and approved transactions successfully completed in accordance with these Programme Terms.
- Transactions are subject to validation and approval.
- Validation period: 60 days.
- Cookie period: 30 days.
- Commission is not payable on refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, or returned orders.
- Charcoal Clothing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, suspend, or remove any publisher from the programme at any time and for any reason.
- Charcoal Clothing is not responsible for tracking failures, technical issues, browser restrictions, ad blockers, cookie rejection, or any other circumstance that may prevent the successful attribution of a transaction.
Voucher Code Policy
Affiliates may only promote discount codes supplied directly by Charcoal Clothing or via the AWIN network.
The use of leaked, unauthorised, expired, or publicly sourced voucher codes may result in declined commissions and removal from the programme.
Brand Representation
Partners must present Charcoal Clothing in a manner consistent with our brand image, positioning, and values.
All imagery, copy, and promotional activity should remain accurate, current, and aligned with Charcoal Clothing campaigns.
PPC
Paid Search Policy
Paid search activity is not permitted unless prior written approval has been granted by Charcoal Clothing.
Affiliates may not:
- Bid on variations, misspellings, or trademark-related search terms associated with Charcoal Clothing.
- Use Charcoal Clothing in display URLs
- Direct link from paid search ads to the Charcoal Clothing website
- Run search campaigns that could misrepresent affiliation with the brand
Trademark bidding violations may result in immediate removal from the programme and declined commissions.
TRANSACTIONS
Commission Structure
Commission is paid on the net order value excluding:
- Shipping costs
- Taxes
- Refunds
- Cancelled orders
Declined Transactions
Transactions may be declined for reasons including:
- Returned or refunded orders
- Duplicate transactions
- Fraudulent activity
- Breach of programme terms
- Unauthorised voucher code usage
Only validated and approved sales are eligible for commission payment.
BRANDING
Brand Guidelines
Affiliates may only use approved Charcoal Clothing creative assets, imagery, and logos.
Content must not:
- Misrepresent the brand
- Include offensive, misleading, or inappropriate material
- Suggest a formal partnership beyond the affiliate relationship
- Alter official branding without written approval
If additional assets are required, affiliates should contact the Charcoal Clothing affiliate team.
Compliance
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring all promotional activity complies with applicable laws, regulations, advertising standards, and disclosure requirements, including FTC, ACCC, and platform-specific guidelines where applicable.
Intellectual Property
All Charcoal Clothing trademarks, logos, creative assets, content, and intellectual property remain the property of Charcoal Clothing and may not be copied, modified, reproduced, distributed, or used outside the scope of the affiliate relationship without prior written consent.
COMMISSIONS
Commission Changes
Charcoal Clothing reserves the right to adjust commission rates, programme structure, or promotional terms at any time.
Any significant commission changes will be communicated to partners with a minimum of 7 days’ notice in line with AWIN requirements
NOTICE PERIOD
Charcoal Clothing will provide affiliates with at least 7 days’ notice for major programme updates, commission adjustments, or policy changes via the AWIN Communication Centre.
PUBLISHERS
Approved Publisher Types
Charcoal Clothing currently works with selected:
- Fashion and lifestyle publishers
- Content creators
- Editorial partners
- Loyalty and reward partners (approval required)
- Influencer and social media affiliates
- Cashback partners (approval required)
Restricted Publisher Types
The following partner types require prior written approval:
- Voucher/coupon websites
- Paid search affiliates
- Browser extensions/toolbars
- Sub-networks
Charcoal Clothing reserves the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at its discretion.
DE-DUPLICATION
Attribution Policy
Charcoal Clothing operates a last-click attribution model unless otherwise stated.
Where multiple marketing channels, affiliate partners, influencers, referral programmes, paid advertising campaigns, or promotional activities contribute to the same transaction, Charcoal Clothing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine final commission attribution and amend, decline, or de-duplicate commissions accordingly.
Charcoal Clothing reserves the right to amend attribution where duplicate commissions or channel overlap occurs.
TERMINATION
Either party may terminate participation in the Charcoal Clothing Affiliate Programme at any time.
Upon termination, affiliates must immediately cease use of all Charcoal Clothing creative assets, trademarks, affiliate links, and promotional materials.
Charcoal Clothing reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or cancel outstanding commissions where transactions are found to breach programme terms or remain under review.
LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charcoal Clothing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or loss of profit damages arising in connection with participation in the affiliate programme, including but not limited to tracking issues, system outages, delays, or loss of commissions.
Charcoal Clothing makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted programme availability, tracking functionality, or commission payments beyond validated and approved transactions.
Charcoal Clothing reserves the right to amend these Programme Terms at any time. Continued participation in the programme constitutes acceptance of any updated terms and conditions.
