COC-Online Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in joining the COC-Online Affiliate Program.

Please read these Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions carefully before applying. By submitting your application, registering for the program, or promoting COC-Online through an affiliate platform such as AWIN, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not participate in the COC-Online Affiliate Program.

1. Program Overview

The COC-Online Affiliate Program is operated by COC-Online, a brand of FICHA TECNICA COCHE S.L., a company registered in Spain.

COC-Online provides an online intermediary service that helps customers manage the process of obtaining European Certificates of Conformity, commonly known as COC documents, from vehicle manufacturers or their authorized representatives.

COC-Online does not issue, create, modify, validate, or alter Certificates of Conformity. All Certificates of Conformity are issued exclusively by the relevant manufacturer or authorized entity, based on the vehicle’s original homologation data.

The purpose of the Affiliate Program is to allow approved affiliates, publishers, and partners to promote COC-Online and earn commissions for eligible sales generated through approved affiliate links, tracking links, or promotional methods.

2. Joining the Affiliate Program

To become an affiliate, you must submit an application through the official COC-Online affiliate campaign, including but not limited to the AWIN platform where applicable.

All applications are reviewed before approval. COC-Online reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

Applications may be rejected if the applicant’s website, traffic source, content, promotional method, or business activity is considered unsuitable, misleading, unlawful, offensive, harmful, discriminatory, fraudulent, or incompatible with the COC-Online brand.

Each affiliate may operate only one affiliate account unless written authorization is provided by COC-Online. Multiple websites, domains, or promotional channels may be listed under the same approved account.

Participation in the program is granted solely for the purpose of promoting COC-Online services and earning commissions on qualifying referred sales.

3. Affiliate Responsibilities

By joining the COC-Online Affiliate Program, you agree to promote COC-Online in a professional, lawful, transparent, and ethical manner.

Affiliates must:

  • Present COC-Online accurately as an intermediary service that helps customers obtain Certificates of Conformity from manufacturers or authorized representatives.
  • Avoid any claim suggesting that COC-Online directly issues, produces, validates, or controls the content of COC documents.
  • Use only approved claims, creatives, links, and promotional materials provided or authorized by COC-Online.
  • Ensure that all promotions remain within the brand guidelines and program rules communicated by COC-Online.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, advertising standards, consumer protection rules, data protection requirements, and platform policies.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date account, contact, billing, and payment information.
  • Promptly update COC-Online or the affiliate platform if any relevant information changes.

Affiliates must not:

  • Use misleading, false, exaggerated, or deceptive advertising.
  • Imply that COC-Online guarantees acceptance of a COC by any local authority.
  • Claim that delivery times are guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by COC-Online.
  • Generate incentivized traffic, including paid rewards, compensation, points, cashback, bonuses, or other benefits in exchange for clicks, leads, or purchases, unless expressly approved in writing.
  • Use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden links, automatic redirects, tracking manipulation, or any method that places cookies without a genuine user action.
  • Use domain forwarding or redirect-only websites that send users directly to COC-Online through an affiliate link.
  • Modify, mask, cloak, tamper with, or manipulate affiliate tracking links.
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications.
  • Use promotional methods that may damage the reputation of COC-Online.

COC-Online may suspend or terminate an affiliate account immediately if promotional activity is considered fraudulent, abusive, misleading, non-compliant, or harmful to the brand.

4. Paid Search, PPC and Brand Bidding

Affiliates are not permitted to run paid search advertising, PPC campaigns, Google Ads, Bing Ads, or similar paid advertising campaigns using COC-Online brand terms, misspellings, variations, competitor comparisons, or Certificate of Conformity-related keywords without prior written approval.

Affiliates may not bid on keywords that include or imitate the COC-Online brand name, domain name, or protected brand terms.

Affiliates may not create ads that appear to be official COC-Online advertisements or mislead users into believing that the affiliate is COC-Online.

Direct linking from paid ads to the COC-Online website through affiliate links is prohibited unless expressly approved in writing.

5. Promotional Materials and Brand Use

COC-Online may provide banners, text links, logos, product descriptions, landing page links, and other promotional assets for affiliate use.

Approved affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use these materials solely for the purpose of promoting COC-Online within the Affiliate Program.

Affiliates may not alter logos, creatives, claims, legal disclaimers, or promotional materials without prior written approval.

All use of COC-Online branding must remain professional, accurate, and consistent with the guidelines provided.

This permission ends automatically if the affiliate leaves the program, is removed from the program, or if the Affiliate Program is terminated.

Upon termination, the affiliate must immediately stop using all COC-Online brand assets, promotional materials, links, logos, and references.

6. Email Marketing

Affiliates must obtain prior written approval from COC-Online before launching any email marketing campaign related to COC-Online.

All email marketing must comply with applicable data protection, privacy, and anti-spam regulations.

Affiliates must not send emails that imply they are sent directly by COC-Online unless expressly authorized.

Where COC-Online provides a suppression list, the affiliate must apply it before sending any campaign and must ensure that no restricted or excluded contacts are contacted.

COC-Online reserves the right to request proof of compliance for any email campaign.

7. Tracking and Attribution

Commissions are tracked through approved affiliate links, tracking links, vouchers, or other methods made available through the affiliate platform.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their links and tracking methods are correctly implemented before sending traffic to COC-Online.

COC-Online is not responsible for untracked sales caused by incorrectly implemented, modified, masked, redirected, expired, or manipulated affiliate links.

Cookie duration, attribution rules, validation rules, and tracking conditions may vary depending on the affiliate platform or campaign settings.

COC-Online does not guarantee that tracking will apply where users clear cookies, change browsers, switch devices, use ad blockers, reject cookies, or complete the purchase through another channel.

8. Commissions

Approved affiliates may earn commissions on qualifying sales generated through valid tracking links, approved vouchers, or other authorized tracking methods.

A qualifying sale is a completed and valid customer order that:

  • originates from an approved affiliate source;
  • is properly tracked by the affiliate platform or approved tracking system;
  • is not cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, abusive, duplicated, or invalid;
  • complies with these Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.

Commission rates may vary depending on the affiliate agreement, promotional model, sales volume, campaign performance, or platform conditions.

COC-Online reserves the right to adjust commission rates, campaign conditions, validation rules, or promotional terms at any time.

Commissions may be declined, reversed, or withheld if the transaction is fraudulent, cancelled, refunded, disputed, incorrectly tracked, generated through prohibited methods, or otherwise in breach of these terms.

9. Validation and Payment

Commission validation and payment are managed according to the applicable affiliate platform procedures, including AWIN where relevant.

COC-Online reserves the right to review referred orders before approving commissions.

Orders may be rejected or delayed for validation if there is evidence of fraud, abuse, chargebacks, payment disputes, incorrect customer information, duplicate orders, breach of program rules, or non-compliant promotional activity.

Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment and tax information through the relevant affiliate platform.

COC-Online is not responsible for payment delays caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated affiliate payment details.

Any taxes, fees, bank charges, or reporting obligations related to affiliate commissions are the sole responsibility of the affiliate, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Role of COC-Online as an Intermediary

Affiliates must clearly understand and respect the role of COC-Online as an intermediary service provider.

COC-Online helps customers manage the process of requesting Certificates of Conformity from manufacturers or authorized representatives.

COC-Online does not control:

  • whether a manufacturer issues a COC;
  • the content, format, structure, or technical data included in the document;
  • the presence or absence of specific information such as EURO standards, CO₂ values, noise levels, optional equipment, or other vehicle data;
  • the acceptance of the document by local registration authorities.

Affiliates must not make any statement that contradicts this role.

Any promotional message must avoid guarantees regarding document content, delivery time, authority acceptance, administrative outcome, registration success, or refund entitlement.

11. Customer Claims, Refunds and Regulatory Acceptance

Affiliates must not promise refunds, approvals, authority acceptance, or guaranteed administrative results on behalf of COC-Online.

COC-Online services are personalized and linked to a specific vehicle identified by VIN.

Where a PDF or digital copy is delivered, such delivery may constitute full performance of the service, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Affiliates must not claim that a customer is entitled to a refund because a third party, authority, or administration does not accept a document.

Affiliates must not make statements that conflict with COC-Online’s Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, or other official customer-facing policies.

12. Prohibited Promotional Practices

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Misleading advertising.
  • False claims about COC issuance.
  • Impersonation of COC-Online.
  • Unauthorized use of the COC-Online brand.
  • Brand bidding without approval.
  • Cookie stuffing.
  • Forced clicks.
  • Hidden tracking.
  • Domain forwarding.
  • Spam.
  • Incentivized traffic without approval.
  • Fake reviews or fabricated testimonials.
  • Use of unauthorized coupons or voucher codes.
  • Promotion on illegal, offensive, discriminatory, adult, violent, fraudulent, or harmful websites.
  • Any activity that may harm COC-Online’s reputation or commercial interests.

COC-Online may suspend tracking, reject commissions, or terminate the affiliate relationship if any prohibited activity is detected.

13. Inactive Accounts

COC-Online may remove affiliates from the program if their account remains inactive, produces no valid sales, or does not respond to reasonable communication requests.

An account may be considered inactive if there has been no meaningful promotional activity, valid traffic, or approved commission activity for a prolonged period.

COC-Online may close inactive accounts in accordance with the rules of the affiliate platform.

14. Termination

Affiliates may stop participating in the program at any time by removing their affiliate links and ceasing all promotional activity.

COC-Online may suspend or terminate an affiliate’s participation at any time if the affiliate breaches these terms, violates applicable laws, damages the brand, engages in fraud, uses unacceptable advertising methods, or abuses the program in any way.

COC-Online may also modify, pause, or terminate the Affiliate Program at any time.

Upon termination, the affiliate must immediately:

  • stop promoting COC-Online;
  • remove all affiliate links;
  • delete or stop using all promotional materials;
  • cease using COC-Online trademarks, logos, brand assets, and references.

If termination is caused by fraud, abuse, or serious breach of these terms, pending commissions may be cancelled.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, COC-Online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Affiliate Program.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational damage.

COC-Online shall not be liable for tracking failures caused by third-party platforms, browser settings, cookie restrictions, ad blockers, user behavior, technical issues outside its control, or incorrect affiliate implementation.

16. Indemnification

Affiliates agree to indemnify and hold harmless COC-Online, FICHA TECNICA COCHE S.L., its representatives, employees, partners, and service providers from any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense arising from:

  • breach of these terms;
  • unlawful or misleading promotion;
  • misuse of COC-Online brand assets;
  • violation of third-party rights;
  • non-compliance with advertising, privacy, data protection, or consumer laws;
  • fraudulent or abusive activity.
  •

17. Governing Law

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain.

Any dispute arising from or related to the Affiliate Program shall be subject to the competent courts of Spain, unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory law.

18. Changes to the Affiliate Terms

COC-Online reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions at any time.

Affiliates may be notified through the affiliate platform, email, website, or other reasonable communication method.

Continued participation in the Affiliate Program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If an affiliate does not agree with the updated terms, they must stop promoting COC-Online and leave the program.

19. Closure Notice

The COC-Online Affiliate Program may operate with a closure or modification notice period communicated through the relevant affiliate platform.

Where applicable, affiliates will be informed of campaign closure, suspension, or material changes according to the platform’s standard procedures.
