Active Silver Affiliate Programme – Terms & Conditions (AWIN)

1. Programme Overview

By joining the Active Silver Affiliate Programme via AWIN, you agree to promote Active Silver products in accordance with these terms.

Active Silver offers affiliates a 20% commission on valid, approved sales generated through tracked affiliate links.

2. Commission Structure

Commission as standard: 20% per sale
Commission applies to net sales value (excluding VAT, shipping, refunds, and cancellations)
Commission is only payable on tracked transactions via AWIN
Active Silver reserves the right to decline or reverse commission for:
- Cancelled or refunded orders
- Fraudulent transactions
- Self-referrals or misuse

3. Cookie Duration

Standard cookie window: 30 days
Commission is attributed to the last valid affiliate click

4. Payment Terms

Payments are processed via AWIN’s standard payment cycle
Transactions are validated before approval (typically within 30 days)

5. Permitted Promotional Methods

Affiliates may:

Use blogs, websites, and editorial content
Share on social media platforms
Use email marketing (with compliant, permission-based lists)
Create content such as reviews, tutorials, and comparisons

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates must not:

Use misleading, false, or unsubstantiated claims about Active Silver products
Engage in spam (email, comments, forums, etc.)
Use forced clicks, cookie stuffing, or artificial traffic generation
Bid on or target Active Silver’s brand terms in paid search without written permission
Use unauthorized discount codes or misrepresent offers

7. Brand Guidelines & Representation

Affiliates must:

Represent Active Silver in a professional and accurate manner
Use only approved brand assets where provided
Avoid any messaging that could damage brand reputation

Active Silver reserves the right to request removal or amendment of any content that does not align with brand standards.

8. Non-Compete & Competitive Conduct

To protect brand positioning:

Affiliates must not directly promote competing colloidal silver or similar products within the same content where Active Silver is featured, in a way that disadvantages Active Silver
Affiliates must not create comparison content that is misleading, biased, or factually incorrect
Affiliates must not position competitor products as superior using unverified claims

Active Silver reserves the right to:

Remove affiliates engaging in direct competitive conflict
Withhold commission where activity is deemed harmful to the brand

9. Online Marketplace & E-commerce Channel Restrictions

Affiliates are strictly prohibited from promoting Active Silver products on third-party e-commerce or marketplace platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, OnBuy, Etsy, or similar channels, where Active Silver sells directly. This includes the use of affiliate links, storefronts, listings, or any activity designed to divert traffic or sales through these platforms for the purpose of earning commission. The affiliate programme is intended to drive incremental sales only, and not to cannibalise existing direct-to-consumer or marketplace revenue. Any activity on these platforms requires prior written authorisation from Active Silver. Failure to comply may result in removal from the programme and forfeiture of commission.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content remain the property of Active Silver
Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use brand assets solely for promotion within this programme

11. Compliance & Legal Requirements

Affiliates must comply with:

UK advertising standards (ASA, CAP Code)
GDPR and data protection laws
FTC/ASA disclosure requirements
