Introduction

By joining the Activate Affiliate Programme, publishers agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Activate reserves the right to amend these terms at any time and to remove publishers from the programme for non-compliance.

Approved Promotional Activity

Publishers may promote Activate through approved channels including:

• Content websites
• Editorial and review sites
• Cashback websites
• Loyalty and reward platforms
• Voucher and deal websites (subject to voucher code restrictions)
• Email marketing (subject to approval and GDPR compliance)
• Social media content
• Influencer activity

Any promotional method not listed above should be approved by Activate before activity begins.

PPC & Brand Bidding

Publishers must not:

• Bid on the terms "Activate", "Activate Games", "Play Activate", or any variations, misspellings, abbreviations, or branded terms.
• Use Activate's brand name within paid search ad copy.
• Directly link paid search traffic to the Activate website without prior written approval.

Violation of PPC restrictions may result in commission reversal and removal from the programme.

Voucher Codes & Discounts

Publishers may only promote voucher codes, discounts, offers, or promotions that have been supplied directly by Activate or made available via the Awin platform.

Unauthorised codes must not be published.

Commissions generated using unauthorised promotions may be declined.

Email Marketing

Publishers conducting email activity must:

• Have explicit consent from recipients.
• Comply with GDPR and all applicable data protection regulations.
• Clearly identify themselves as the sender.

Activate reserves the right to request examples of email creative and targeting information.

Content & Brand Guidelines

Publishers must:

• Accurately represent Activate and its products.
• Use only approved brand assets where supplied.
• Avoid misleading claims, pricing, offers or promotions.
• Avoid content that may damage the reputation of Activate.

Activate reserves the right to request amendments or removal of content.

Cashback & Loyalty Sites

Cashback, rewards and loyalty publishers are permitted to participate in the programme.

Any exclusive cashback promotions must be approved by Activate before publication.

Publishers are responsible for ensuring fraud prevention measures are in place.

Influencer & Social Media Activity

Influencers and social publishers are welcome to promote Activate provided:

• Any promotional offers used are approved.
• Sponsored content complies with ASA and CMA guidelines.
• Affiliate relationships are clearly disclosed where required.

Fraudulent Activity

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Cookie stuffing
• Click fraud
• Automated traffic
• Bot traffic
• Fake leads or bookings
• Misleading advertising
• Forced clicks
• Adware or malware

Any fraudulent activity will result in immediate removal from the programme and reversal of all related commissions.

Commission Validation

Commissions will only be paid on completed and valid bookings.

Activate reserves the right to decline transactions that:

• Are cancelled or refunded.
• Are identified as fraudulent.
• Violate programme terms.
• Result from unauthorised promotional activity.

Programme Removal

Activate reserves the right to suspend or remove any publisher from the programme at any time where activity is deemed unsuitable, misleading, non-compliant, or damaging to the brand.
