1. Commission & Payment
Base commission rate: 15% of net sales value
Tiered commission: Up to 20% for affiliates generating over $1,000 / month in sales
Cookie duration: 30 days
Attribution model: Last-click – 30 days
Payment schedule: Monthly (net 30 days) via Awin’s standard payment system
2. Valid Sales & Exclusions
Commission is paid on completed, shipped, and non‑returned orders.
VAT, shipping fees, and gift wrap charges are excluded from net sales.
Self-referrals, personal purchases, or cashback-style transactions are not eligible.
3. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly not allowed without prior written approval:
Bidding on brand terms including “Knitfirst”, “Knitfirst rugs”, or any misspellings in paid search (PPC).
Using our brand name or logo in display URLs for paid ads.
Promoting via coupon stacking sites where the primary value is our discount codes without original content.
Sending unsolicited commercial email (spam) or using deceptive advertising.
Using pop-ups, pop‑unders, or forcing clicks.
4. Promotional Guidelines
You may use our product images, lifestyle photos, and videos from the provided creative assets.
Do not alter product claims. Specifically, do not claim products are genuine sheepskin or animal fur – they are 100% faux.
All content must not mislead consumers about the cruelty‑free or synthetic nature of the products.
5. Discount Codes
Only codes issued specifically for your affiliate channel may be used.
Generic codes found on other websites are not permitted unless approved.
Publishing our exclusive affiliate codes on public coupon sites (e.g. RetailMeNot, Honey) is prohibited.
6. Tracking & Liability
We are not responsible for tracking failures caused by ad blockers, browser issues, or incorrect link implementation by the affiliate.
We reserve the right to withhold commission on fraudulent or artificially generated transactions.
7. Programme Changes & Termination
We may change commission rates, cookie periods, or terms with 14 days’ notice via Awin.
Both parties may terminate the agreement at any time for any reason with 7 days’ written notice.
Violation of prohibited activities may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales (or your jurisdiction as specified in the Awin contract).
