Partner Terms
The Partner agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions to the exclusion of any other terms. These terms and conditions will form a legally binding agreement between Grain Connect and the Partner on the earlier of partner’s signature or access to Grain Connect materials through the AWIN platform. By accepting our invitation to partner with Grain Connect as an Affiliate member of AWIN’s affiliate network and/or by making a request to join the Grain Connect Affiliate Programme you are agreeing to these terms and conditions as set out in the “Overview” and “Program Terms” pages and detailed in each section of our profile (PPC, Transactions, Branding, Commission, Notice Periods, Publishers, De-Duplication) which you need to read and understand and which you agree to by participating in the Grain Connect Affiliate Programme.
On seven days’ notice given through the AWIN platform, Grain Connect may change these terms and conditions and you will be deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions by continuing to participate in the Grain Connect Affiliate Programme.

Scope of activities
- Grain Connect performs de-duplication on a last click wins basis across all online channels.
- The programme is confined to digital and on-line promotional activities only.
- Our Affiliate Programme is open to publishers who manage online advertising and websites.
- We don't accept any direct selling, including cold calling, selling over the phone either inbound or outbound or door-to-door sales.
- Grain Connect reserves the right to reject/remove unsuitable publishers.
- Partners may only promote offers and promotions communicated to it through the AWIN Platform or as agreed in writing by Grain Connect.
Attribution period
7 days
Payment
The Grain Connect Affiliate Programme rewards partners for every new customer introduced to Grain Connect in line with these terms and who:
- Signs up to a fixed term contract
- Is installed and whose contract commences within 30 days of sign-up
- Is not in any payment arrears
- Is outside of their 14-day cooling off period, which starts upon contract start date
Commission will not be payable for the following:
- Customer switching from Grain Connect to Grain Connect within the same premise within the last 30 days
- Customers who are introduced to Grain Connect by the Partner in breach of these terms
- Any customer who signs up via another method, such as an inbound telephone call or via the Grain Connect Field Sales team
- Any returning customer who previously had outstanding payments, unless the debt is cleared in full prior to re-connection
- Any customer who makes a formal complaint to Grain Connect or a third-party dispute resolution partner, or the Ombudsman in relation to their order process, specifically naming the affiliate Partner in their complaint
Disputes
Grain Connect will only investigate disputed commissions raised within 60 days of the transaction completion date, also known as the sign-up date.
Use of Grain Connect marketing materials and IP
- Partner must not incorporate, or copy Grain Connect URL or any derivation thereof as part of Partner’s URL.
- Partner must not portray itself as Grain Connect, or otherwise give the impression that Partner is anything other than an independent sales agent promoting and selling Grain Connect services as an independent business for a commission.
- Partner may only use Grain Connect materials provided through the AWIN Platform to sell and promote Grain Connect services and which must be used as directed, incorporating all qualifications, and not altered in any way.
- Partner must ensure it only uses current Grain Connect material, offers and promotions and must therefore regularly check the AWIN platform.
- Grain Connect reserves the right to reject any order placed by a customer which does not reflect Grain Connect then current promotional terms and Partner agrees to take full responsibility and issue an apology to any customer whose order is cancelled due to breach of this term.
Confidential Information
You may not, while you remain a publisher in the Grain Connect Affiliate Programme, and for a period of 3 years thereafter, disclose any confidential information concerning Grain Connect’s business, affairs, plans, promotions, customers, clients or suppliers except:
(a) to your employees, officers, representatives or advisers who need to know such information to exercise your rights or carry out your obligations in compliance with these Terms; and
(b) as may be required by law, a court of competent jurisdiction or any governmental or regulatory authority.
You may not use any Grain Connect confidential information for any purpose other than to exercise your rights and perform your obligations in compliance with these Terms.
Data Protection
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, in relation to any personal data processed under this agreement.
The parties acknowledge that affiliate tracking and related data may be processed by AWIN as a shared partner. Each party shall ensure that appropriate technical and organisational security measures are in place to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, loss, destruction, or damage.
In the event of a personal data breach affecting data shared or processed under this agreement, the affected party must notify the other party without undue delay and, in any event, within 48 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Notifications to Grain Connect must be sent to data.protection@grainconnect.com.
Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith to investigate, mitigate, and remediate any such breach.
Breach of Grain Terms and Conditions
You will indemnify Grain Connect against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by Grain Connect arising out of or in connection with the marketing or sale of Grain Connect products or services on your website or any breach of the terms of this agreement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grain Connect excludes liability or any loss of profit or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages which may arise under or in connection with this agreement.
Suspension and Termination
Grain Connect may immediately suspend your participation in the Affiliate Programme in the event of any breach or suspected breach of these Terms and Conditions or misuse of Grain Connect marketing materials or other information. Immediately upon any suspension you will suspend all materials and links relating to Grain Connect from your website and you will not be entitled to receive any commission in relation to orders for Grain Connect products placed during any period of suspension.
Grain Connect may terminate your participation in the Affiliate Programme at any time on 14 days' notice for any reason. Immediately following any termination, you will remove all material and links relating to Grain Connect from your website and you will not be entitled to receive any commission in relation to orders for Grain Connect products placed after the date of such termination.
