Eligibility & Enrollment

The Gitch Affiliate Program is open to individuals and entities aged 18 or older who operate an active online platform (website, blog, social media account, newsletter, or similar channel). The program is administered through the AWIN affiliate network. Participation requires an active AWIN publisher account in good standing.

By applying to join the Gitch program on AWIN, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that your platform complies with applicable laws and AWIN's Publisher Terms of Service. Gitch Sportswear reserves the right to approve or decline applications at its sole discretion.

  • Applications are reviewed within 5–7 business days.
  • Employees and immediate family members of Gitch Sportswear are ineligible.
  • One affiliate account per individual or legal entity.
  • Publishers must comply with both these terms and AWIN's platform policies at all times.

Commission Structure

10%

Flat commission on all qualifying salesEarned on net sale value, excluding taxes, shipping, and refunded orders. No tiers, no minimums — every approved sale earns the same rate.

Commissions are tracked and validated through the AWIN platform. A sale becomes a "confirmed" commission once the return window has closed and the order is not subject to a chargeback or dispute. AWIN's standard validation timeline applies.

Gitch reserves the right to run limited-time commission uplift promotions. Any such changes will be communicated via the AWIN program inbox and applied automatically to your account during the promotional period.

Tracking & Attribution

Powered by AWIN

All referral tracking is handled through AWIN's tracking infrastructure using publisher deep-links generated in the AWIN interface. A 30-day cookie window applies. Attribution follows AWIN's last-click model — the last qualifying affiliate click before purchase receives the commission.

  • Do not modify, cloak, or redirect AWIN tracking links in ways that break attribution.
  • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, and any artificial inflation of click or conversion data are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and commission forfeiture.
  • Voucher code tracking is supported where AWIN deep-links are not practical — contact the program manager to request a dedicated code.

Promotional Guidelines

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring all promotional content complies with applicable advertising standards, including FTC guidelines and ASA rules (where applicable), requiring clear disclosure of the affiliate relationship.

  • Required disclosure language: "This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link."
  • Affiliates may not bid on branded keywords (e.g., "Gitch", "Gitch Sportswear") in paid search campaigns without prior written approval.
  • Use of Gitch logos and trademarks must conform to the Brand Asset Guidelines available in the AWIN program resources.
  • Spam, unsolicited email marketing, and misleading claims about products are strictly prohibited.
  • All promotional activity must comply with AWIN's Publisher Code of Conduct.

Affiliates must not make claims about product performance, materials, or pricing that are not supported by current Gitch product listings. All product descriptions must reflect accurate, up-to-date information sourced from official Gitch channels.

Payments & Taxes

Commission payments are processed through AWIN in accordance with AWIN's standard publisher payment schedule. Publishers are paid directly by AWIN subject to their account payment settings and minimum threshold requirements. Gitch does not issue payments directly to affiliates.

  • Payment method, currency, and threshold preferences are managed within your AWIN publisher account.
  • Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and remitting any applicable taxes on earnings.
  • AWIN may request tax documentation (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN) as required by law prior to processing payments.

Returns & Chargebacks

Commissions on returned or cancelled orders will be reversed in the AWIN platform during the validation period. Gitch's standard return window is 30 days. Any commission on a returned order that has already been confirmed will be debited from future earnings. Gitch reserves the right to delay validation of commissions pending chargeback investigations.

Program Modifications & Termination

Gitch Sportswear may modify commission rates, cookie durations, or any other program terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified via the AWIN program inbox at least 14 days prior to material changes. Continued use of affiliate links after notification constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time. Upon termination, all Gitch affiliate links must be removed from active content. Earned commissions on confirmed, non-returned orders prior to the termination date will be paid in the next standard AWIN cycle.

Limitation of Liability

Gitch Sportswear is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the affiliate program, including loss of revenue due to tracking errors, AWIN platform outages, or changes to program terms. Affiliate earnings are not guaranteed.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario. Nothing in these terms supersedes or conflicts with AWIN's platform terms, which take precedence in the event of a conflict regarding network operations.
