Social Stories Club Affiliate Programme Terms
Social Stories Club is operated by KALEIDOSOCIAL CIC (registered in Scotland under company number SC665056, with registered office at International House, 38 Thistle Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 1EN). By applying to or participating in our Awin affiliate programme, publishers agree to comply with these Programme Terms, our Branding & Trademark Guidelines, Paid Search / PPC Policy, De-duplication Policy, and all applicable laws.
1. Programme Overview
We offer commission on qualifying sales generated through approved affiliate links and creatives. Commission rates and cookie duration are displayed in the Awin interface and may be updated with notice. All promotions must drive genuine, incremental traffic and add value for customers.
2. Compliance & Conduct
- Publishers must comply with all Awin network rules, UK advertising standards (ASA/CAP Code), consumer protection laws, and data protection regulations (including GDPR/UK GDPR).
- Any promotional content must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
- Publishers are responsible for clearly disclosing the affiliate relationship where required.
- We reserve the right to review, approve, or reject any promotional activity.
3. Paid Search / PPC Policy
Brand bidding is not permitted. Publishers may not bid on our brand name (“Social Stories Club”, “SocialStoriesClub”, “socialstoriesclub.com”), any misspellings, variations, or brand + generic terms in paid search, shopping ads, or display URLs without our prior written approval. Direct linking from search engines and unauthorised use of our brand in ad titles, descriptions, or display URLs is prohibited. Full details are set out in our separate Paid Search / PPC Policy.
4. Branding & Trademark Guidelines
Publishers may only use our official logos, images, banners, and creatives provided in the Awin creative library (or expressly approved in writing). Modification of brand assets, use of our name in domains/social handles, or any use that implies official partnership or endorsement is strictly prohibited. 5. De-Duplication
We apply last-click de-duplication against several marketing channels to avoid paying commission on the same sale twice. Full details are in our De-duplication Policy.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following are not permitted and may result in commission reversal, programme suspension, or removal:
- Spam, unsolicited emails, or misleading promotions
- Use of unauthorised creatives or text
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or any fraudulent activity
- Promoting on sites that contain illegal, offensive, or adult content
- Any activity that competes directly with our own paid channels without approval
7. Commission & Payment
Commission is only payable on tracked, validated, and non-returned sales within the cookie window. We reserve the right to reverse commissions on cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent orders. Payment terms follow Awin’s standard process.
8. Intellectual Property & Data
All intellectual property rights in our brand, products, and creatives remain with KALEIDOSOCIAL CIC. Publishers act as independent contractors with no authority to bind us. Any personal data processing must comply with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
9. Liability & Termination
We are not liable for any loss arising from publisher activities. We may terminate or suspend a publisher’s participation at any time with or without notice if these terms are breached.
10. Governing Law
These programme terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts (or the courts of the publisher’s residence where required by law).
