Suunto Brand Guidelines
Brand name and logo usage
Affiliates must use the official brand name, spelling, capitalization, and logo exactly as provided. Modifications (color, size, distortion) are generally prohibited unless specifically approved.
Creative assets
Advertisers often require that affiliates use official banners and assets supplied via the Awin interface. Any custom creatives may need prior approval. Hard‑coding banners is discouraged to ensure automatic updates.
Content accuracy
Product descriptions, prices, and promotional claims must be truthful and match the latest information on the advertiser’s website. Misleading, exaggerated, or unsubstantiated claims are not allowed.
Promotional environment
Affiliates must not promote the brand on sites or channels containing adult content, illegal activities, or content that could harm the brand’s reputation.
Site impersonation
Creating websites that mimic the official brand site, or using the brand name in domain names or social handles, is typically prohibited without explicit permission.
Paid search (PPC) policy
Many advertisers restrict bidding on their brand terms and misspellings. Some may allow it under certain conditions (e.g., for coupon/cashback keywords). Specific rules are detailed in the brand guidelines.
Compliance and enforcement
Affiliates must adhere to applicable advertising laws and disclosure requirements (e.g., FTC endorsement guidelines). Advertisers reserve the right to remove non‑compliant content and may withhold commissions or terminate partnerships for violations.
