Cool Hog Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions
Overview
The Cool Hog Affiliate Programme allows approved publishers to earn commission by promoting Cool Hog products through tracked affiliate links provided via the Awin platform.
By joining the programme, affiliates agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
Commission Eligibility
Commission will only be paid on valid, completed transactions made through the Cool Hog website.
Commission will not be paid on:
• Cancelled orders
• Refunded orders
• Fraudulent transactions
• Self-referrals (affiliates purchasing through their own links)
Cool Hog reserves the right to reverse commissions on any transaction that does not meet these requirements.
Paid Search (PPC) Restrictions
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on Cool Hog branded search terms in any search engine advertising platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads or similar platforms.
Restricted keywords include but are not limited to:
• Cool Hog
• Cool Hog pork scratchings
• Cool Hog snacks
• Any variations or misspellings of the Cool Hog brand name
Affiliates must also not direct link to the Cool Hog website from paid search campaigns.
Violation of this rule may result in immediate removal from the affiliate programme and cancellation of any outstanding commissions.
Voucher & Discount Code Policy
Affiliates may only promote official Cool Hog discount codes that have been provided directly through the Awin platform or approved by Cool Hog.
Publishing unauthorised, expired or fabricated discount codes is strictly prohibited.
Brand Usage
Affiliates must ensure that all references to the Cool Hog brand are accurate and not misleading.
Affiliates may not:
• Misrepresent Cool Hog products
• Use misleading advertising practices
• Use the Cool Hog brand in domain names or social media handles without written permission
Cool Hog reserves the right to request removal or amendment of any promotional material.
Traffic Sources
Affiliates must clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required by law.
The following traffic methods are strictly prohibited:
• Spam email marketing
• Unsolicited direct messages
• Misleading advertisements
• Cookie stuffing or forced clicks
Programme Management
Cool Hog reserves the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at its sole discretion.
Affiliates who violate these terms may have their account suspended or removed from the programme and any pending commissions may be withheld.
Updates to Terms
Cool Hog reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via the Awin platform.
