POETRY Affiliate Programme — Summary of Terms & Conditions
1. Programme Overview
By joining the POETRY affiliate programme through AWIN, you agree to follow all programme terms, which govern how you promote the brand and earn commission.
2. Commission & Payment
- Affiliates earn 15% commission on approved sales of physical products (excluding gift vouchers).
- Commission is calculated on net sales after returns, shipping, and VAT/sales tax.
- Payments are made via AWIN’s standard payment schedule.
- Sales may be declined if cancelled, returned, fraudulent, or in breach of the programme rules.
- The programme uses a 30‑day cookie window.
- Transactions are only validated once the returns period has passed, 30 days after delivery.
3. Approved Promotional Methods
Affiliates may promote POETRY via:
- Blogs, editorial content, and review sites
- Social media channels and influencer content
All promotional activity must reflect the brand’s tone, style, and quality. POETRY does not provide discount or voucher codes.
4. Influencer & Social Media Guidelines
- Any affiliate activity or gifted collaboration must be clearly disclosed in line with ASA/CMA rules (e.g., #ad, #affiliate, #gifted).
- Content must be accurate and not misleading.
- Affiliates cannot create accounts that appear to be official POETRY channels.
- Using affiliate links in paid social ads requires prior written approval from the brand.
5. Usage Rights & Content Licensing
- Affiliates grant POETRY a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to share or repost their content across brand-owned channels (e.g., website, social media, emails), unless an alternative agreement is made.
- Any paid usage, such as using content in ads, banners, or extended licensing, requires a separate agreement.
- Content must not include copyrighted third‑party material without permission.
- POETRY will credit creators where feasible.
6. Gifting & Collaboration Policy
- Gifting is discretionary and does not guarantee ongoing collaboration or affiliate commission.
- Affiliates must not request free products or imply entitlement.
- Gifted items must be disclosed clearly (#gifted).
- If content deliverables are required in exchange for gifts, these must be agreed in advance.
7. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates must not engage in:
- Bidding on POETRY brand keywords (unless approved)
- Sharing unauthorised voucher or discount codes
- Misleading or deceptive marketing
- Impersonating the POETRY brand
- Spam or unsolicited outreach
- Using adware, cookie stuffing, or forced clicks
8. Tracking & Validation
- All sales must occur through tracked AWIN affiliate links.
- Commission is awarded on a last‑click attribution basis within the cookie window, unless otherwise agreed.
- POETRY may adjust attribution rules to avoid duplication or non‑incremental sales.
- Invalid, non‑compliant, or self‑purchase transactions are not eligible for commission.
- Purchases made by affiliates or POETRY staff are ineligible.
9. Programme Management
POETRY reserves the right to:
- Approve or reject affiliate applications
- Request changes or removal of content
- Update commission rates, terms, or programme structure
- Suspend or remove affiliates who breach the terms
10. Termination
If the programme or a partnership is terminated, affiliates must immediately stop promoting POETRY and remove all affiliate links and brand assets.
11. Compliance
Affiliates must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including:
- Advertising standards and consumer protection laws
- Data protection and privacy regulations
- AWIN’s publisher terms and policies
