- Always present comparisons as “inspired by [brand/product]” (must be clear and prominent)
- Ensure all content is clearly identifiable as Noted. Aromas advertising
Pricing & Comparisons
- Only compare like-for-like products:
- EDP vs EDP
- Same size (e.g. 50ml vs 50ml)
- Always include:
- Full product name
- Size
- Concentration
- Ensure price claims are accurate and up to date
Creative & Content
- Use Noted. Aromas products in visuals (not competitor-led imagery)
- Ensure Noted. Aromas branding is equal or more prominent than any referenced brand
- Use only licensed or approved images, music, and assets
- Speak naturally and authentically while staying within guidelines
- Make sure all claims are clear and not misleading
Social Proof & Claims
- Clearly qualify any claims:

Language & Claims
- Do NOT use prohibited terms:
- “dupe”, “replica”, “copy”, “clone”, “knock-off”
- “smells identical / the same / just like”
- “best alternative to [brand]”
- “our version of…”
- Do NOT imply products are equivalent or identical to designer fragrances
- Do NOT use absolute claims without proof:
- “best”, “No.1”, “longest lasting”, etc.
Brand Usage
- Do NOT use competitor brand names as the main marketing message
- Do NOT create confusion or association with designer fragrance houses
- Do NOT use trademarked brand names in paid search (AdWords) triggers
Visuals & Creative
- Do NOT place products side-by-side with similar-looking packaging
- Do NOT use competitor imagery without proper rights clearance
- Do NOT edit, obscure, or cover brand names on third-party bottles
- Do NOT replicate another brand’s campaign style or creative
Influencers & UGC
- Do NOT repost influencer or UGC content that includes non-compliant claims
- Do NOT assume UGC is safe — once reposted, it becomes your ad
Pricing & Comparisons
- Do NOT compare:
- Different concentrations (e.g. EDP vs EDT)
- Different sizes (e.g. 50ml vs 100ml)
- Do NOT make vague price claims (e.g. “only £4.99”) without specifying product details
