Steam & Oak Affiliate Programme – Terms
1. Eligibility
We approve publishers based on content quality, traffic source transparency, and brand fit. We may decline coupon-only sites, low-quality incentive traffic, or misleading advertorials.
2. Permitted promotion
Editorial content, product reviews, buying guides, comparison content
Social content (YouTube/Instagram/TikTok) where the audience is authentic
Email marketing only to opted-in lists (no purchased lists)
3. Prohibited activity
Misleading claims, fake scarcity, fake reviews, or inaccurate delivery promises
Trademark or brand impersonation (“Steam & Oak official”, “Steam&Oak support”, etc.)
Browser extensions / forced clicks / cookie stuffing
Promotion on adult, hate, illegal, or extremist content sites
Reselling our brand name in domains or social handles
4. Paid search / PPC rules
No bidding on our brand terms (e.g., “Steam & Oak”, “steamandoak”, close variants, misspellings).
No direct linking from ads to our site using affiliate links.
Generic category keywords are allowed (e.g., “barrel sauna UK”, “outdoor sauna”), provided ads and landing pages are not misleading.
5. Vouchers & cashback
Voucher codes must be approved. Only codes supplied to you by Steam & Oak may be promoted. Cashback/incentive partners may be restricted or placed on a lower commission tier.
6. Content and claims
Any wellness/health claims must be responsible and non-medical. Avoid claiming guaranteed medical outcomes.
7. Commission validation
Commission is paid on validated sales only. Cancelled/refunded/failed finance orders and fraudulent transactions are not commissionable.
8. Returns, cancellations & lead time
High-ticket goods may have delivery lead times. Affiliates must not promise specific delivery dates unless we have provided them in writing.
9. Changes
We may update commissions, rules, and programme policies to protect brand integrity and performance.
