PartsForMachines

Terms and Conditions

Please General: All affiliates are expected to operate in full compliance with UK laws and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) codes. Misleading advertising, spam, and any deceptive practices (such as cookie stuffing or unauthorized pop-ups) are not permitted. Affiliates must clearly disclose their promotional content as advertising where applicable (for example, adding “#ad” to social posts) to maintain transparency. You may not portray yourself as an official representative of PartsForMachines (e.g., do not present your site or communications as if they are from our company). Using your own affiliate links to purchase from our site (self-referrals) is prohibited and will not generate commissions. We reserve the right to withhold commissions and/or remove you from the programme for any violations of these terms. Severe or repeated breaches (for instance, infringement of our trademarks or engaging in banned advertising methods) may result in immediate termination of your affiliate account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

Commission & Cookie Duration: Our standard commission is 4% of the net sale value (net value excludes VAT and delivery charges). All qualifying products and orders are eligible for this commission unless otherwise specified. The cookie window is 30 days, meaning you will earn a commission if a customer completes a purchase within 30 days of clicking your tracking link and no other affiliate’s link intervened during that period. These default commission terms may be adjusted from time to time, but any changes will be communicated in advance through programme updates.

Transaction Validation & Payment: Transactions tracked via your affiliate links are initially marked as “pending” and will typically be validated within 30 days after the month of the sale. We approve commissions for transactions that are completed successfully (the order is paid, not canceled, not returned, and not fraudulent) and that comply with our programme policies. If a transaction is canceled, refunded, found to be fraudulent, or if it involved a breach of these Terms (for example, the use of a disallowed promotional method), the commission will be declined. Approved commissions will appear as “confirmed” in your Awin account and will be paid out by Awin according to their standard payment schedule and procedures. We endeavour to review and process all pending transactions promptly so that you receive your rightful commissions in a timely manner.

No Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising: We maintain a strict no-PPC policy for this programme. Affiliates are not permitted to use paid search or any pay-per-click advertising to promote PartsForMachines. This includes bidding on our brand name, website name, or URLs, as well as any related keywords on search engines (e.g., Google, Bing). It also includes bidding on generic keywords related to our products or industry if the intent is to drive traffic to our site. Furthermore, you may not use our brand name, trademarks, or URLs in the content of any online ads (including ad copy or display URLs), and you must not use direct linking from a paid ad to our website. The use of paid social media advertising to promote our site (such as Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter ads) is similarly not allowed. These restrictions are in place to prevent competition with our own marketing efforts and protect our brand’s integrity. Any commissions arising from prohibited PPC or paid ad activities will be voided, and engaging in them may lead to removal from the programme.

Branding Guidelines: Affiliates are required to uphold the integrity of the PartsForMachines brand in all promotional activities. Use official logos, banners, and marketing materials provided in the Awin interface. Do not modify our logos or branding without prior permission. Ensure our brand is presented accurately and professionally, and do not use our brand in a way that could confuse customers (for example, implying an official partnership beyond the affiliate relationship). Trademark usage is closely monitored: you may not register or use domain names, social media profiles, or app names containing “PartsForMachines” or any similar terms. Additionally, avoid associating our brand with inappropriate content. If your website or promotional content includes adult material, hate speech, illicit activities, or other content that could negatively impact our brand’s reputation, you are not allowed to include our links or advertising on such properties. We expect all partners to maintain high quality standards in their content.

Publisher Promotion Guidelines: We welcome a range of promotional methods, provided they adhere to these terms:

Permissible methods include editorial content and blogs (e.g., product reviews, guides, and articles that mention our products), voucher and cashback websites, loyalty/reward programmes, price comparison sites, opt-in email marketing (where emails are sent to a subscriber list that has given explicit consent, and the affiliate is clearly identified as the sender), and organic social media posts or influencer content (with proper disclosure of the affiliate relationship). These methods are generally acceptable as long as they comply with our other policies (no spam, no misrepresentation, etc.). We encourage affiliates to use creative, high-quality content to drive genuine user interest in our products.

Prohibited methods include any form of software, plugin, or toolbar that automatically adds affiliate tracking (for example, browser extensions that insert codes without user action), cookie stuffing techniques, and any forced or deceptive redirection of users to our site. Unsolicited bulk communications (spam emails, messages, or comments) in connection with our brand are not allowed. Sub-affiliate networks or re-brokering of our offers is only allowed with prior written approval; without such permission, you may not pass our campaigns to other publishers. Any form of promotion on websites or channels containing illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content is strictly forbidden. We also prohibit any activity that violates user privacy or data protection laws when promoting our programme. If you are unsure whether a particular promotional method is allowed, please contact us in advance for clarification. We value our affiliates’ creativity but require that all promotions meet our standards and policies.

Attribution & De-Duplication Policy: Our programme uses last-click attribution to ensure only one channel is credited per sale. An Awin affiliate will earn commission on a sale only if your affiliate link was the final referral that the customer clicked before completing the purchase. If the customer clicks through another marketing channel after your referral – for example, via a paid search ad, an email campaign, or another affiliate network – and that is the last click before the sale, then the conversion will be attributed to that other channel, and no commission will be paid through Awin for that transaction. We have implemented de-duplication measures to avoid multiple channels being paid for the same sale, which helps maintain a sustainable programme. Importantly, we do not de-duplicate against purely organic entries to our site (such as direct traffic or unpaid search engine results). If your referral was the only marketing influence (i.e., the last paid click) leading to the sale, you will receive credit for the conversion. This de-duplication policy is fully disclosed for transparency and to ensure fairness among our marketing partners.

Programme Changes & Notice Periods: We will provide a minimum of 7 days’ notice to affiliates for any significant changes to these Terms or to our programme structure1. Significant changes include adjustments to commission rates, modifications to cookie duration, additions of new restrictions or requirements, or programme suspension/termination. In the case of programme termination, we will give at least 7 days’ prior notice via the Awin platform, and all pending valid commissions will be honoured and paid out in the usual manner after closure. We adhere to Awin’s policies regarding changes: for example, we will not reduce the base commission rate by more than 20% without at least 7 days’ advance notice (and not more than once in any 30-day period). All updates or amendments to these Terms will be communicated through official Awin channels (such as the programme news or direct messages to publishers). We advise all affiliates to review programme communications regularly to stay informed of any updates.  click here to add terms and conditions content
