Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from AML Travel & Tours. The company reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

2. Payments
A deposit (percentage to be specified, e.g., 30–50%) is required to confirm any safari, trekking, beach holiday, or custom itinerary.

  • Full payment must be made before the start of the tour (typically 30 days prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed).
  • Bookings made within 30 days of travel require full payment at the time of confirmation.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
  •

3. Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to change due to increases in park fees, government taxes, fuel prices, or supplier rate adjustments.
  • Once a booking is confirmed and deposit received, the agreed price is guaranteed unless government taxes or park fees change.
  •

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Refunds are subject to the following cancellation fees (example structure — adjust as needed):

60+ days before arrival: Deposit may be partially refundable (less administrative fees).

  • 30–59 days before arrival: 50% of total cost may be charged.
  • 15–29 days before arrival: 75% of total cost may be charged.
  • 0–14 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.

No refunds will be made for no-shows, unused services, or early departures.

5. Changes to Itineraries

AML Travel & Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, park regulations, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible, and suitable alternatives will be offered.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance (including medical, evacuation, trip cancellation, and baggage coverage) is mandatory for all travelers. AML Travel & Tours is not responsible for losses that would otherwise be covered by insurance.

7. Health & Safety

  • Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all visa, vaccination, and health requirements for entry into Tanzania and other destinations.
  • Participation in safaris, trekking (including Mount Kilimanjaro), and adventure activities involves inherent risks. By booking, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.

8. Liability

AML Travel & Tours acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other service suppliers. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by third-party providers.

The company is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, or force majeure events.

9. Flights

For flight bookings, AML Travel & Tours is not responsible for airline schedule changes, cancellations, baggage loss, or delays. Airline terms and conditions apply separately.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Follow instructions from guides and tour leaders.
  • Respect local laws, wildlife regulations, and cultural practices.
  • Ensure passports are valid for at least six months beyond travel dates.

11. Complaints

Any complaints must be reported immediately to the tour guide or company representative during the trip to allow prompt resolution. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after completion of the tour.
