Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the AustralianHealthFoods.com Affiliate Program operated via the AWIN network (“Program”). By applying to and participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Affiliates must have an active AWIN account in good standing.
  • Applications may be accepted or rejected at the sole discretion of the Program.
  • The Program is intended for publishers operating websites, blogs, email lists, or social media channels focused on relevant audiences such as health, wellness, lifestyle, or nutrition.

3. Commission Structure

  • Commission is set at 7.5% of the net order value (excluding taxes, shipping, discounts, refunds, and cancellations).
  • Commissions are tracked and validated via the AWIN platform.
  • Approved sales are subject to a validation period before becoming payable.

4. Cookie Duration

  • Tracking cookies are set in accordance with AWIN’s standard attribution model and cookie duration policies.

5. Promotional Methods

Affiliates must:

  • Promote AustralianHealthFoods.com in a lawful, ethical, and non-deceptive manner.
  • Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with applicable advertising and consumer laws.

Affiliates must not:

  • Engage in spam, misleading claims, or unsolicited communications.
  • Use trademark bidding without prior written approval.
  • Misrepresent products, pricing, or availability.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Cookie stuffing or any form of fraudulent tracking manipulation
  • Self-referrals or incentivised purchases without approval
  • Use of malware, iframes, hidden redirects, or automated bots
  • Domain squatting or use of misleading domains resembling the brand
  • Misleading or deceptive advertising practices

Any violations may result in removal from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

7. Order Validation & Reversals

  • Commissions are only paid on valid, completed, and non-returned orders.
  • Orders may be reversed in cases of cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, or suspected fraud.
  • The merchant reserves the right to decline or reverse commissions at its discretion in line with AWIN tracking and validation processes.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use approved brand assets solely for Program participation.
  • No ownership of trademarks, logos, or content is transferred.

9. Compliance

Affiliates must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Advertising and consumer protection laws
  • Privacy and data protection regulations
  • Disclosure requirements for affiliate marketing

10. Termination

  • Either party may terminate participation at any time with or without cause.
  • Upon termination, affiliates must cease using all Program materials and links.
  • Outstanding commissions may be withheld if Terms have been violated.

11. Liability

  • The Program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • The merchant is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which the merchant operates.
