Customers will visit the landing page and complete the enrollment form to sign up. Eligible customers receive a 20% discount on the solar credits that are applied every month to their CMP or Versant electricity. Plus they get a $150 cash reward and a gift card.
To enroll, customers provide their contact information, Maine service address, utility account details, and a copy of their utility bill. They must review and sign the customer agreement and disclosure and set up autopay using a credit card or ACH. There is no cost to enroll; payment information is used only to pay for discounted solar credits after solar credits appear on the utility bill.
Customers cannot already be enrolled in another community solar program. Enrollment review and validation can take up to approximately 65 days. Customers who are approved will receive the $150 cash reward after enrollment is validated. The 20% electricity discount will begin once solar credits are applied to the CMP or Versant utility account.
