Wifihire.co.uk Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions
By joining the Wifihire.co.uk Affiliate Programme on Awin, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions listed below.
1. General Acceptance
1.1. These terms apply to all Affiliates (Publishers) approved on the Wifihire.co.uk programme.
1.2. We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion. Sites that display offensive content, gambling, adult material, or content that promotes discrimination will be rejected immediately.
2. PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Policy
To protect our brand integrity and marketing budget, we enforce a strict Closed PPC Policy.
2.1. Brand Bidding:
Affiliates are NOT permitted to bid on our brand name (including variations and misspellings) on any search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.).
Restricted Terms: "Wifihire", "Wifihire.co.uk", "Wifi Hire UK", "Lime Enterprise UK", or any combination thereof.
2.2. Direct Linking:
Affiliates are NOT permitted to direct link from paid search ads to our website. You must direct traffic to your own landing page first.
2.3. Generic Keywords:
You ARE permitted to bid on generic terms (e.g., "rent portable wifi", "London tourist internet", "short term broadband") provided you do not violate the Brand Bidding policy.
2.4. Penalties:
Any affiliate found in breach of this policy will have their pending commissions declined and may be suspended from the programme immediately.
3. Voucher Code & Offer Policy
3.1. Affiliates may only promote voucher codes that are explicitly provided through the Awin platform or directly by our Affiliate Manager.
3.2. Unauthorized Codes: Use of "user-generated" codes or codes found on other channels (e.g., exclusive codes given to a specific influencer or email newsletter codes) is prohibited.
3.3. Cookie Stripping: If a sale is generated using a prohibited voucher code, no commission will be paid on that transaction, regardless of the traffic source.
3.4. Affiliates must not mislead customers by displaying expired codes or "Click to Reveal" buttons when no code exists.
4. Commission & Validation
4.1. Commission Basis:
Commissions are paid on the Net Rental Value of the order.
Commissions are NOT paid on:
- - Shipping/Delivery costs.
- - Refundable Security Deposits (Commission are not paid on Refundable deposit added to customers transactions, because these are deposit paid back to customer after they return the device at the end of their hire period, or used in replacing devices lost or damaged by customer).
- - VAT (where deductible).
4.2. Validation Period:
We validate commissions typically within 30 days of the transaction.
Transactions will be declined if:
The order is cancelled by the customer before dispatch.
The order is fraudulent or fails credit checks.
The equipment is not returned (resulting in a forfeit of deposit/insurance claim, which is not commissionable revenue).
4.3. De-duplication:
We operate a de-duplication policy against other marketing channels (e.g., if a user clicks a Paid Search ad from us after clicking your affiliate link, the sale may be attributed to the last click).
5. Creative & Branding
5.1. Affiliates must use the logos, banners, and text links provided within the Awin interface.
5.2. You must not alter our brand logo or create your own creative assets implying an official partnership without prior written approval.
5.3. Your site must not masquerade as the official Wifihire.co.uk website. It must be clear to the user that they are on a third-party site.
6. Content & Email Marketing
6.1. All email marketing campaigns promoting Wifihire.co.uk must be signed off by us prior to sending.
6.2. You must ensure all email lists are GDPR compliant and that users have opted in to receive third-party offers.
6.3. Comparisons with competitors must be factually correct and up to date.
7. Breach of Terms
7.1. Wifihire.co.uk reserves the right to withhold commission payments to any affiliate found to be in breach of these terms.
7.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the partnership with any affiliate at any time, with or without prior notice, if we believe the affiliate is acting to the detriment of our brand.
