ScanSkinAI – Program Terms (Publisher Terms)
1) Program overview
ScanSkinAI is an AI-powered skin awareness and preventive screening platform for consumers and employee wellbeing programs. Users upload a photo of a skin concern and receive a structured, non-diagnostic result with guidance on suggested next steps. An optional online dermatologist review add-on may be available.
2) Permitted publisher types
We welcome publishers focused on:
Content (reviews, education, wellbeing/health content)
Community publishers (relevant communities and forums)
Email publishers (opt-in newsletters and compliant email marketing)
We do not accept cashback/loyalty, coupon-only, or behavioural retargeting focused publishers unless approved in writing.
3) Prohibited promotional methods
The following are not permitted without prior written approval:
PPC/search advertising and direct linking from search ads
Brand bidding or use of “ScanSkinAI” (or variations/misspellings) in keywords, ad copy, display URLs, or domain names
Toolbars, adware, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, misleading redirects, or incentivised traffic
Lead selling, list brokering, sub-affiliate brokering, or any form of cold outreach representing ScanSkinAI as “official”
Publishers must not imply any formal partnership, insurer endorsement, or employer endorsement unless confirmed in writing.
4) Brand and medical compliance requirements (very important)
Publishers must ensure all messaging is factual, responsible, and non-diagnostic. It is strictly prohibited to:
claim ScanSkinAI diagnoses, treats, or cures medical conditions
promise outcomes or use fear-based medical language
present ScanSkinAI results as a medical diagnosis or clinical conclusion
Acceptable language: “skin awareness”, “non-diagnostic AI insights”, “guidance on next steps”, “optional dermatologist review add-on”.
5) Commission basis and exclusions
Commission is paid on eligible paid transactions only (e.g., memberships and/or Pay-Per-Scan credits as configured). Commission is not paid on:
VAT/sales tax
cancelled or refunded orders / chargebacks
suspected fraudulent transactions
test transactions or £0/free trial transactions
transactions that breach program terms
6) De-duplication and attribution
We may de-duplicate affiliate sales against other channels (e.g., PPC, display, other affiliate networks) to prevent double payment. Where de-duplication applies, commission may be declined in accordance with these program terms.
7) Right to remove / decline
We reserve the right to decline transactions or remove publishers for breach of these terms, misleading promotion, or activity that risks brand reputation, user safety, or regulatory compliance.
