1. Program Overview
The Garden Guru Tools Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring customers to GardenGuruTools.com through tracked affiliate links. By joining the program, affiliates agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
2. Commission Structure
Affiliates earn a base commission rate of 8% on qualifying purchases.
- Commissions are calculated on the net order value, excluding:
- Sales tax
- Shipping and handling fees
- Discounts, refunds, credits, or chargebacks
Commission rates are subject to change at Garden Guru Tools’ discretion with prior notice.
3. Cookie & Locking Period
The affiliate program uses a 30-day cookie locking period.
If a customer clicks an affiliate link and completes a purchase within 30 days, the affiliate will receive credit for the sale.
If multiple affiliates refer the same customer, the last affiliate click prior to purchase will receive credit.
4. Qualifying Transactions
Commissions are earned only on:
- Completed and paid orders
- Orders that are not returned, refunded, or canceled
- Orders placed by new or existing customers through valid affiliate links
Garden Guru Tools reserves the right to withhold commissions for:
- Fraudulent, suspicious, or duplicate transactions
- Self-referrals or purchases made by the affiliate for personal use
- Orders that violate these terms
5. Payment Terms
Commissions are paid after the applicable return and locking period has passed.
Payouts are issued according to the affiliate platform’s payment schedule.
Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment and tax information.
Garden Guru Tools is not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect account details.
6. Promotional Guidelines
Affiliates may:
- Promote Garden Guru Tools via websites, blogs, social media, email, and content platforms
- Use approved brand assets, product images, and messaging
Affiliates may not:
- Bid on branded keywords (including “Garden Guru Tools” or close variations) without written permission
- Use coupon sites, browser extensions, or deal scraping unless explicitly approved
- Misrepresent pricing, promotions, or product claims
- Use spam, misleading advertising, or deceptive practices
- Imply an official partnership beyond affiliate participation
7. Prohibited Activities
- The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination:
- Cookie stuffing or forced clicks
- Self-referrals
- Fake leads or fraudulent traffic
- Unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, or brand names
- Reselling or redistributing affiliate links
8. Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks
Commissions will be reversed for returned or refunded orders.
If an order is partially refunded, commissions will be adjusted accordingly.
Garden Guru Tools’ decision regarding commission adjustments is final.
9. Termination
Garden Guru Tools reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time for violation of these terms
- Withhold unpaid commissions if fraudulent or prohibited behavior is detected
Affiliates may terminate participation at any time by notifying Garden Guru Tools or through the affiliate platform.
10. Modifications
Garden Guru Tools may update or modify these terms at any time. Continued participation in the affiliate program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Garden Guru Tools operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
