Partner types we accept / do not accept
We primarily accept: UK-focused Home & Garden / DIY content sites, blogs, editorial publishers, creators/influencers, trade/pro installer partners and relevant niche communities.
We do not accept (unless explicitly invited in writing):
Voucher/coupon aggregation sites
Cashback/loyalty or incentivised traffic partners
Toolbars/browser extensions/coupon plug-ins
Sub-networks (where placements are not transparent)
SEM/PPC partners (including any activity on brand terms)
Any partner unable to provide a live placement URL upon request
1) Products covered
This programme includes:
Online checkout products (eligible for standard tracking):

Quote-based product (offline/manual tracking):
Equestrian Rubber Chippings
2) Commission rates
5% commission on eligible sales across the programme (see product rules below).
Commission is calculated on the net sale value (excluding VAT).
3) Online checkout products (Natural / ECO / DIY Kits)
Publishers may link directly to relevant product, collection or landing pages for Natural, ECO and DIY Kits.
Commission is calculated on the net sale value (excluding VAT).
Commission is validated once the online order is completed, subject to cancellations/returns/fraud checks.
4) Quote-based product (Equestrian Rubber)
Equestrian Rubber enquiries are quote-based and are not completed at online checkout.
How tracking works:
Sales are tracked and recorded manually (offline) once an enquiry converts to a paid order.
To be eligible for commission, the enquiry must originate from an Awin-tracked referral and be attributable to the publisher (e.g., tracked click parameters and/or the customer submitting our equestrian enquiry form after clicking through).
If the referral cannot be attributed, commission cannot be awarded.
Important:
No CPC / CPL: We do not pay per click or per enquiry. Commission is paid only on completed, validated sales.
Commission is calculated on the rubber supply value only, excluding VAT and excluding any haulage/delivery charges.
5) Pricing & claims
Publishers must present pricing accurately.
Natural / ECO / DIY Kits: Free delivery (online checkout).
Equestrian Rubber: haulage is quoted separately and final price depends on location/access. Publishers must clearly state this.
6) Vouchers / discount codes
General rule:
Do not promote discount codes unless provided and approved by Ground Surfaces.
Partner-exclusive voucher codes (standard policy):
We may provide a platform-unique 5% discount code (e.g., PARTNERNAME5) for tracking and reporting.
Code is new customers only, one use per customer, first order only.
Codes are not stackable with any other promotions/vouchers unless agreed in writing.
Where codes can be shared:
Codes may be promoted only on the affiliate’s owned channels (website/social/email).
Codes must not be published on coupon/voucher aggregation sites unless you have been explicitly approved by us as a voucher partner.
Valid products / exclusions:
Valid on online checkout products only (Natural / ECO / DIY Kits and other garden/DIY products listed on site).
Excludes: equestrian quote orders, haulage-only charges, bespoke/offline invoiced orders, and any products marked as excluded.
7) PPC / brand bidding
Paid search activity is restricted.
No bidding on our brand terms (including variations/misspellings), including:
Ground Surfaces
groundsurfaces.co.uk
No direct-linking from paid ads to our site without permission.
Generic category keywords may be allowed only where ads do not imply official ownership and remain non-brand.
8) Tracking, attribution & validation
Sales must be tracked via Awin links (and/or the provided affiliate code where agreed).
Orders that cannot be attributed in Awin may not be commissionable.
We reserve the right to request live URLs and/or evidence of placements. Failure to provide this may result in removal from the programme.
Commission may be declined for cancellations, returns, fraudulent activity, prohibited traffic sources, or breaches of these terms.
9) Compliance
Publishers must follow UK advertising rules and applicable privacy laws (GDPR/PECR). Misleading claims or non-compliant marketing may result in commission being declined and/or removal from the programme.
