Voucher Code Use

You may only promote voucher codes that are provided through the CurtainUK Affiliate Platform (AWIN).

Codes that are not in the public domain should not be used by affiliates unless written permission is given by CurtainUK.

We reserve the right to withhold payment of commission if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.

Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date, this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise.

Any affiliates who are displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.

Paid Search Activity (PPC)

CurtainUK operates a strict policy on PPC Activity. The following types of keywords are restricted for use in any paid search activity of affiliates on the campaign (unless an agreement is otherwise in place with written confirmation):

Brand: CurtainUK

Extended Brand: e.g., CurtainUK.com, CurtainUK Online, CurtainUK Vouchers, CurtainUK discount codes, CurtainUK Coupons, CurtainUK Deals, and any other variation of these terms.

Misspellings: e.g., CuratainUK, CurtainsUK, CurtenUK, etc.

Affiliates are required not to appear on any search results for these keywords on any ad platform, including search engines, content networks, social networking ad placements, etc.

In order to avoid any broad matching issues, affiliates must add CurtainUK and CurtainUK.com as negative keywords in all paid search activity.

Creative

Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Awin interface.

In order to prevent out-of-date content, affiliates may not hardcode the creative into their sites.

WHEN & HOW WILL I GET PAID?

Commission fees are paid on a monthly basis via the Awin platform, following the 60-day validation window.

HOW ARE ORDERS TRACKED & CREDITED TO MY SITE/SOCIAL?

By carefully following the instructions for collecting and placing links from your site/social to curtainuk.com, you will enable clear tracking of where each visitor comes from and who makes a purchase. We employ cookie technology for these purposes; links from your site/social contain your unique source ID. Every time a user comes to us via your links, we know to credit you when a customer purchase is made.

CAN I TAKE ORDERS ON MY SITE/SOCIAL?

No. In order to ensure product availability, accurate tracking, reporting, and superior customer service, we must host the transaction. We take care of the order, customer service, and fulfilment so you can focus on your content and traffic development.

DO YOU HAVE ONLINE REPORTING?

Yes. Once you have been accepted into the programme, you will be given access to your Affiliate Partner Tracking and Reporting Interface. You will be able to view your earnings and traffic reports at any time through Awin.

DO I EARN COMMISSIONS ON MY OWN PURCHASE?

Yes. You can earn commissions on any purchases you make from visiting curtainuk.com through your own site's CurtainUK Affiliate Programme link.

WILL I GET PAID FOR GENERATING SAMPLE ORDERS?

No. As we offer fabric swatches/samples free of charge or at a nominal fee, we cannot offer commission on these. However, you will be paid commission if these customers go on to order curtains or blinds within the 30-day cookie window.

WHAT ABOUT PRODUCT RETURNS?

In the unlikely circumstance we have to refund a customer or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. Because our curtains are made to measure and often customized, in the case of incorrectly input measurements or simply a change of mind, we generally cannot offer refunds, and therefore your account will not be debited any commission from those transactions. If goods are lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to the customer, your commissions will not be affected either.
