Terms and Conditions

Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word 'Mylands' or misspellings of 'Mylands' in the URL. For example, www.mylands.com. 

Affiliates are asked not to register URLs with Mylands brand term contained in their domain or subdomain. 

Affiliates must not include Mylands Brand Terms, or misspelt variations of the same, in the subfolders of their website’s URL (for example: http://mylands.affiliate.com).

Affiliates found promoting unauthorised codes or promotions face suspension from the programme and commissions declined where the unauthorised code has been used.

We do not allow any paid search activity to push our affiliate programme.

Affiliates are not permitted to use the Mylands brand name in PPC ads or performing PPC on Mylands behalf

Affiliates may not put the Mylands website into frames or use masked URLs

Affiliates may not alter any of the creative made available through the awin interface. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so updates made to those available through awin may take immediate effect.

We reserve the right to suspend affiliates from the programme immediately if required.

 

PPC Policy
 

Affiliates must not compete with Mylands’ own paid media activity.
Affiliate activity must be incremental, not cannibalistic.

Brand bidding, along with permutations, is not permitted on any search engine.

For example Affiliates must not bid on:

“Mylands”

“Mylands paint”

“Mylands colours”

“Mylands Marble Matt”

Any Mylands brand + product combination

Misspellings of “Mylands”

URL bidding (mylands.com)

 

This includes Google, Bing and other paid search platforms.


Please do not use "tm" or the word "official" in your advertisements.
Affiliates are also asked not to bid directly on competitions brand, including BQ, Screwfix, Homebase, Wicks etc.
 

We may occasionally allow affiliates to bid on brand names in PPC for a specified period of time. Any bidding on non-agreed terms, or agreed terms outside the agreed period will result in non-payment of commissions and potential removal from the programme.
