Brand Story
The TESSAN brand was inspired by its founder Alex’s reflections on travel and life during a memorable journey. Eight years ago, Alex embarked on a solo trip around the world. While mobile digital devices were advanced, he struggled to find a universal adapter that could seamlessly cross various borders and meet global travelers' needs. Determined to address this issue, Alex began developing and designing such products, starting TESSAN's journey of innovation and building it into a globally recognized brand characterized by creativity and user care.
The name “TESSAN” also has roots in Alex’s travel experiences. During a local indigenous ceremony, participants chanted prayers to the Thunder God, seeking strength. Deeply moved, Alex phonetically translated part of this prayer into “TESSAN” as the brand name, symbolizing the original concept of connecting energy and travelers through innovative technology. The brand philosophy, “The journey begins at home,” remains ingrained in TESSAN’s identity, emphasizing its focus on both “home” and “travel” scenarios. Today, “TESSAN” also reflects “Technology” and “Essence,” representing the pursuit of core technology and innovative research while promising users seamless connectivity and reliable charging during their global explorations.
