Terms & Conditions – Davies Sports Affiliate Programme
1. Identity
Davies Sports is part of the Findel family of brands. Shoshin is our owned sports brand, exclusively sold through Davies Sports. Findel is owned by Manutan.
Throughout these terms, “Davies Sports”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Findel/Davies Sports.
2. Commission Structure
· Davies Sports will pay up to 10% commission on validated transactions.
· Commission is calculated on net basket value (excluding VAT, delivery charges, discounts, returns, and cancellations).
· Commission is payable on transactions completed by customers who originated from an affiliate click within 30 days (cookie window).
We reserve the right to reverse commission for:
· Cancelled or returned orders
· Fraudulent transactions
· Orders obtained in breach of programme terms
3. Attribution & De-duplication
Davies Sports uses a multi-channel attribution model.
Affiliates will receive commission unless another marketing channel is clearly proven to have driven the sale first. Examples include:
· Paid Search brand ads receiving the final click before conversion
· Email campaigns with identified last-click attribution
· Direct website visits following a paid media session
In such cases, the sale may be de-duplicated and commission reversed.
4. Promotions & Voucher Code Policy
· Only voucher codes explicitly issued for affiliate use or published by Davies Sports may be promoted.
· Use of unauthorised or scraped codes may result in commission being set to zero, suspension, or removal from the programme.
· Voucher codes must display clear expiry dates and must be removed or marked as expired once no longer valid.
· All affiliates must comply with the IAB Voucher Code Best Practice Guidelines.
4.1 Voucher Code Tracking & Attribution
Davies Sports may issue unique or publisher-specific voucher codes to selected affiliates.
Where a unique voucher code is used at checkout, Davies Sports may attribute the sale to the relevant affiliate even if a cookie is not present or has expired, provided:
· The voucher code was issued directly by Davies Sports for affiliate use
· The code has not been shared, leaked, or published outside of the approved affiliate’s agreed channels
· The affiliate has not breached any paid search, email, or promotional restrictions
Davies Sports reserves the right to withhold or reverse commission where a voucher code is found to have been:
· Publicly leaked without permission
· Used in conjunction with prohibited activity
· Scraped or redistributed by unauthorised third parties
5. Paid Search (PPC) Restrictions
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Trademark Bidding
Affiliates may not bid on:
· “Davies Sports” or any Findel brand terms
· “Shoshin” or other owned brand terms
· Misspellings or close variants
· “Brand + Generic” combinations (e.g., Davies Sports footballs) unless expressly approved
Direct Linking
Affiliates may not directly link to Davies Sports URLs from paid search ads.
Consequences
Breaches will result in:
· Immediate removal from the programme
· Reversal of all related commissions
6. Google Shopping & Bing Shopping
Affiliates are not permitted to run Google Shopping or Bing Shopping ads featuring Davies Sports products or URLs.
7. Email Marketing
· Affiliates are prohibited from sending unsolicited emails (“spam”).
· Any affiliate wishing to send email campaigns containing Davies Sports or Shoshin content must obtain prior written approval.
· All email activity must comply with UK GDPR and PECR regulations.
8. Affiliate Types
Davies Sports welcomes all affiliate types, including: Content partners • Bloggers • Cashback • Loyalty • Influencers • Price Comparison • Editorial publishers • Review sites
However, all activity must align with these programme terms.
9. Termination
Davies Sports reserves the right to terminate an affiliate’s participation at any time via Awin or directly.
Upon termination, affiliates must:
· Immediately remove all Davies Sports/Shoshin content, links, and assets
· Stop using any brand-related promotional material
· Return or delete all creative supplied by Davies Sports or Awin
