Program Terms

1. Program Overview

Skate Guru Inc. is a trusted online retailer specializing in professional and recreational figure skating equipment, apparel, and accessories. We carry premium brands including Jackson Ultima, Edea, Riedell, MK, Sagester, SG.Moda, Thermowave, and UFO Plast — serving skaters of all levels across the U.S.

Our affiliate program rewards partners who drive quality traffic and sales through approved promotional methods, including content, review, loyalty, and cashback websites.

2. Commission Structure

  1. Base Commission: 3% of net sale value (excluding taxes, shipping, and returns).
  2. Cookie Duration: 30 days.
  3. Validation Period: Sales are reviewed and approved within 30 days after the transaction to account for returns or cancellations.

Commissions are paid on completed, non-refunded sales only. Orders returned or canceled will be reversed.

3. Cashback & Loyalty Partners

Cashback and loyalty websites are permitted, provided that:

  1. Cashback is only offered on verified tracked sales through Awin.
  2. Cashback is not offered for coupon stacking or unapproved voucher combinations.
  3. Cashback sites must clearly disclose cashback terms to users.

4. PPC (Paid Search) Policy

Affiliates may not:

  1. Bid on our brand names or variations (e.g., “Skate Guru,” “skatesguru.com,” “SkateGuru,” or misspellings).
  2. Use our domain name or brand in ad copy, titles, or display URLs.
  3. Direct link from search engines to our site.
  4. Use brand bidding or force-redirect PPC traffic.

Generic PPC campaigns (e.g., “figure skating boots” or “ice skates online”) are allowed only if:

  1. They direct to your own content or landing page first.
  2. They don’t use our trademarks or confuse users about brand ownership.

5. Content & Promotional Restrictions

You may:

  1. Use product images and descriptions provided by Skate Guru for promotional use.
  2. Publish reviews, comparisons, and editorial content.
  3. Promote via social media, newsletters, and blogs.

You may not:

  1. Use unapproved coupon codes.
  2. Promote misleading or false offers.
  3. Use our brand name in domain names, subdomains, or social media handles.
  4. Engage in cookie stuffing, toolbars, or automatic redirection.

6. Email & Display Advertising

Email campaigns must be opt-in and CAN-SPAM compliant.

Display ads must not misrepresent our offers or redirect traffic deceptively.

Retargeting using our trademark is not allowed.

7. De-Duplication Policy

We do not de-duplicate affiliate sales against other marketing channels.

That means if a user clicks an affiliate link and also interacts with other paid media (Google Ads, email, etc.), the affiliate still receives credit for the tracked Awin conversion.

8. Brand Representation

Affiliates should represent Skate Guru professionally, using approved product images, accurate pricing, and correct brand names.

Please avoid outdated promotions or expired codes.

9. Program Termination

We reserve the right to remove affiliates who:

Engage in fraudulent activity, coupon abuse, or non-compliant PPC bidding.

Use misleading or unauthorized content.

Have a high rate of refunded or invalid transactions.

Affiliates will be notified before removal when possible.
