Maison d'Etto – Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
This document sets out the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Maison d’Etto Affiliate Program. By signing below, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Maison d’Etto administers its Affiliate Program exclusively through the Awin affiliate platform. All links, creatives, transactions, and commission payments are managed within this platform. Affiliates must maintain an active account on Awin to participate in the Program.
- Agreement By applying to be a Maison d’Etto Affiliate (“Affiliate”), you:
- Agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
- Acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy constitute an agreement between you and Maison d’Etto upon acceptance into the Program.
- Represent and warrant that you are lawfully able to enter into this Agreement.
- Agree to remain in compliance with the Agreement and ensure your employees, agents, and contractors do the same. This Agreement is written in clear, accessible language to ensure transparency and understanding.
2. Definitions
As used in this Agreement:
- “Maison d’Etto,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Maison d’Etto in all forms.
- “You” or “your” refers to the Affiliate.
- “Our website” refers to Maison d’Etto properties located at maisondetto.com.
- “Your website” refers to any site, page, or online service you control that links to our website.
- “Program” or “Affiliate Program” refers to the Maison d’Etto Affiliate Program.
- “Products” refers to fragrances, candles, and other goods sold or distributed by Maison d’Etto.
- “Qualifying Purchases” means purchases made when:
- A customer clicks through your affiliate link to our website.
- Within 30 days, the customer adds a product to their cart and completes the purchase.
- The product is paid in full and not subsequently canceled, returned, or refunded.
3. Program Details
- Attribution Period (Cookie Length): 30 days
- Auto Validation Period: 50 days
- Mobile Optimized Tracking: No
- App Tracking: No
- ShopWindow: Products refreshed regularly.
4. Termination
Maison d’Etto reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason. Upon termination, you must:
- Return or delete all Maison d’Etto-provided materials (ad links, designs, product images, or samples).
- Immediately cease using any Maison d’Etto links, marks, or intellectual property.
- Discontinue use of any Maison d’Etto toolkits, internal materials, or embargoed content.
5. Promotions & Sales
- Maison d’Etto does not issue or support coupon codes.
- On occasion, Maison d’Etto may run sitewide or product-specific offers, which will be clearly displayed on maisondetto.com.
- Affiliates may promote these offers only as they are presented publicly — altering, repurposing, or misrepresenting promotional details is strictly prohibited.
- Any early promotion of embargoed campaigns or unauthorized messaging may result in forfeited commissions and possible removal from the Program.
6. Website & Content Standards
Your affiliate site or content may not:
- Engage in illegal or deceptive activity.
- Contain discriminatory, pornographic, hateful, violent, or otherwise offensive material.
- Promote religious or political endorsements.
- Include content deemed misaligned with Maison d’Etto’s aesthetic or brand values.
- Promote irresponsible use of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs.
- Promote firearms, gambling, or lotteries.
Maison d’Etto reserves the right to determine brand alignment at its discretion.
7. Linking & Creative Use
- Only use affiliate links provided through Maison d’Etto’s designated affiliate platform.
- All domains using affiliate links must be listed in your Awin profile.
- Your site may not copy, resemble, or closely imitate Maison d’Etto’s website or imagery.
- You may not use misleading techniques (e.g., framing, cookie stuffing, masked URLs, redirects).
- Creative assets may not be modified without written approval.
- You must use only the creatives and promotional assets provided or approved by Maison d’Etto.
8. Paid Search & PPC Restrictions
- You may not bid on Maison d’Etto trademarks, misspellings, or confusingly similar terms without written permission.
- You may not use Maison d’Etto terms in ad headlines, copy, meta tags, keywords, or paid search advertising.
- Pay-per-click advertising on Maison d’Etto trademarks is prohibited unless expressly approved in writing.
9. Intellectual Property
- All Maison d’Etto trademarks, websites, images, and products remain the exclusive property of Maison d’Etto.
- Affiliates have no rights to Maison d’Etto marks or materials beyond those granted under this Agreement.
- Maison d’Etto may request changes to your use of its intellectual property, and affiliates must comply promptly.
- Affiliates may not remove or obscure Maison d’Etto copyright notices or trademarks.
- Maison d’Etto reserves the right to audit affiliates for compliance at any time.
10. Confidentiality
Affiliates must maintain strict confidentiality of all materials or communications marked “Confidential” provided by Maison d’Etto.
11. Assignment
Affiliates may not assign, delegate, or transfer their rights or obligations under this Agreement without prior written consent from Maison d’Etto.
12. Transactions & Payment
- Transactions are validated twice monthly after a 90-day return window.
- Transaction queries must be submitted within 45 days of the transaction date; late claims will not be accepted.
- All sales remain pending until the 90-day validation period concludes.
- Commission payments are issued via Awin on the 20th of the month following the lock date.
- Commission rates are detailed in the “Commission” section of the Awin platform.
13. Social Media
Affiliates may promote Maison d’Etto via their own social media channels using affiliate links. However, affiliates may not:
- Post affiliate links on Maison d’Etto’s official social accounts.
- Run paid social advertisements using Maison d’Etto trademarks or brand terms without approval.
