General Terms
Participation in The One Broadband's Affiliate Programme means the Affiliate has read, understood and accepted the terms detailed in each section of our profile.
The One Broadband may update these Terms with seven days’ notice through the Awin platform. Continued participation will mean the Affiliate has accepted the changes
Publisher Types
Our Affiliate Programme is open to publishers who manage online advertising and websites. We don't accept any direct selling, including cold calling, selling over the phone or door-to-door. We also don’t allow adult sites, gambling sites or sites which promote violence or inappropriate behaviour.
The One Broadband reserves the right to reject/remove unsuitable publishers.
Commissions
- The Simple One (150Mbps) - £55
- The Chosen One (900Mbps) - £75
- The Everything One (2.2Gb) - £90
Commission is payable to the Affiliate when a customer orders The One’s Broadband services within 30 days of clicking through from a link provided by the Affiliate and the transaction is validated on the Awin platform.
Commission will only be payable in the following situations:
- The customer is new to The One Broadband
- The customer’s order is completed via the join journey on our website
- The customer has been successfully installed, has paid their first bill and is still a customer 31 days after activating their The One Broadband services
Please note that all orders not installed within 90 days will be rejected.
We do not offer commission on the sale of VoIP, boosters or the static IP address.
PPC Bidding Guidelines
No brand bidding is allowed on any pure brand term, brand & generic terms or misspells of the brand term, unless agreed with The One Broadband.
When joining the programme the Affiliate must negatively match our brand terms in the Affiliate's PPC campaigns.
Direct linking from PPC ads to The One Broadband's website is not allowed without written approval.
Breaches may result in suspension or removal from the programme.
URL and ad copy restrictions
Affiliates must not use The One Broadband brand or any derivatives within the URL unless agreed with The One Broadband.
Deep-linking
Affiliates are allowed to deep-link to pages they deem relevant. We are not responsible for sales lost through incorrect deep linking.
Branding & Creative
Logos and approved creative are available in the “Documents” section.
The Affiliate may not change The One Broadband's logo or create its own.
The Affiliate must not misrepresent itself as The One Broadband. Copy must be written in the voice of the Affiliate, not as if it came from The One Broadband.
Website copy may be reused but must be kept up to date.
Any creative material developed by the Affiliate must be approved by The One Broadband before use.
The One Broadband may withdraw approval for any creative at any time.
Email
Affiliates may send emails on behalf of The One Broadband but only with prior permission and approved copy.
Affiliates can include information about The One Broadband in their own newsletters without prior approval.
Affiliates are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with GDPR, e-privacy and other laws when sending email communications.
Legal Compliance
It is the Affiliate’s responsibility to ensure it accurately promotes The One Broadband's products and services.
The Affiliate must comply with all instructions and guidelines The One Broadband or Awin may issue in respect of the presentation and/or display of marketing communications.
The One Broadband may ask the Affiliate to amend, remove or take down from its website any material relating to The One Broadband and its products or services. The Affiliate must comply with such requests at its own expense and as soon as practicable (and no later than seven days of the request being made).
If the Affiliate fails to comply, The One Broadband can remove the Affiliate from The One Broadband Affiliate Programme. The Affiliate will not be entitled to receive any commission from any orders placed after the date of such removal.
The Affiliate will indemnify The One Broadband against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses suffered or incurred by The One Broadband arising out of or in connection with the Affiliate’s website or the marketing or sale of The One Broadband products or services on this website.
The One Broadband will not be responsible for any indirect or knock-on losses the Affiliate might suffer (such as loss of profits, business, or reputation) in connection with these Terms.
The One Broadband's total liability to the Affiliate will be capped at the total commission paid to the Affiliate in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Termination
The One Broadband may suspend or terminate The Affiliate's participation in The One Broadband's Affilate Programme if the Affiliate breaches these Terms.
The One Broadband may terminate an Affiliate’s participation in the programme at any time on 14 days’ notice via Awin.
On suspension or termination, the Affiliate must remove all material and links relating to The One Broadband from its website. No commission will be paid on orders placed after such suspension or termination.
Disputed transactions
The One Broadband will investigate disputed commissions raised within 90 days of the transaction date
Complaints
The Affiliate must help The One Broadband manage and resolve any consumer or regulatory complaints.
De-duplication
The One Broadband de-dupes on a last click wins basis across all of the online channels including but not limited to display, social, email, and paid search.
