To ensure a fair and brand-compliant partnership, the following rules regarding the use of brand terms in marketing activities apply to all affiliates participating in our AWIN program.

 

❌ Brand Bidding Policy – Strictly Prohibited

Affiliates are not allowed to bid on our brand names or any variations/misspellings of them via PPC advertising (e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.).

 

This includes, but is not limited to, the following brand terms:

  • Heimwerkertools
  • Gedotec
  • Juva
  • Alpenstahl

Using our brand names in:

  • Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, etc.)
  • Bing Ads
  • Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI)
  • URL paths or display URLs
  • Ad copy, headlines, or sitelinks

...is strictly forbidden.

 

⚠️ Compliance Deadline

Affiliates found bidding on brand terms will be contacted and asked to immediately cease all non-compliant activities.

 

Affiliates have 7 calendar days to:

  • Remove all brand bidding activities
  • Confirm compliance in writing via the AWIN messaging system

Failure to comply within this timeframe will result in:

  • Immediate termination of the affiliate partnership without further notice
  • Withholding of commissions related to non-compliant traffic
  • A potential formal report to AWIN for violation of program terms

 

✅ What is Allowed

Affiliates may use our brand names in organic content only, such as:

  • Blog posts
  • Product reviews
  • SEO-optimized landing pages (non-paid)
