Eat This Much - Affiliate Program Terms
Last updated: September 4, 2025
These terms govern participation in the Eat This Much (“ETM”, “we”, “us”) affiliate program on Awin (“Network”). By participating, you (“Publisher”, “Partner”) agree to these terms and Awin’s Publisher Agreement. If there’s a conflict, these Program Terms control for our program.
1) What we pay
Standard rate: 30% of Net Revenue on eligible subscription charges and renewals.
Tiered/custom rates: We may offer higher rates (up to 50%) to select partners who demonstrate significant referral volume (at our discretion). If a partner is assigned a custom rate in Awin, the rate shown in Awin for that partner applies while active; otherwise the Standard rate applies. We may update or withdraw custom rates prospectively with notice via Awin.
Recurring: Commission recurs on every paid renewal for the life of the customer’s active subscription. If the subscription is canceled, the commission stream stops and does not restart if the customer later re-subscribes (“first subscription per user” rule).
Net Revenue: Amount actually received by ETM after deductions for:
- VAT/sales taxes and any governmental fees,
- payment processing fees and app-store platform fees (Apple/Google),
- refunds, chargebacks, credits, or promotional adjustments.
Eligible plans: All paid ETM plans (monthly & annual, including ETM Pro) unless otherwise noted here.
2) What qualifies as an eligible transaction
A transaction is eligible when all of the following are true:
- The user created an ETM account following your Awin-tracked click and was first linked to your account at sign-up.
- The user completes a paid subscription charge (web/Stripe or in-app purchase).
- The charge is tracked and matched to the original affiliate relationship (see §4).
- The transaction passes validation (see §3) and doesn’t violate these terms.
Ineligible examples: free trials that never convert, refunded/charged-back payments, duplicate/self-referrals, orders using unauthorized coupons, untracked renewals, or any breach of §6.
3) Validation, reversals & payment timing
Validation window: We review each initial payment and renewal within 60 days of the charge date.
Reversals: We may void or reverse commissions for refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, duplicate orders, or policy violations.
Payouts: Awin handles payments on our behalf per Awin’s payment schedule once commissions are approved.
4) Tracking & attribution
Attribution model: Last-click attribution via Awin. Default attribution window is 30 days click / no view-through unless otherwise specified.
Account-level linking: At account creation we store a durable link between the user and the referring partner (“first subscription per user”). If that user cancels, the link is permanently broken and cannot be reassigned or restarted by a later click.
Renewals (Stripe): We attribute renewals via server-to-server events from Stripe webhooks matched to the user/subscription on file.
Renewals (App Stores): We attribute renewals via Apple App Store Server Notifications v2 / Google Real-Time Developer Notifications matched to:
Apple original_transaction_id or Google purchaseToken, and
the ETM account/subscription ID.
When a renewal won’t qualify: If a renewal cannot be deterministically matched to the original affiliate (e.g., missing identifiers, unmatched account, or legally required data deletion), no commission will be paid for that renewal.
5) Coupon, deal, & pricing policy
Approved offers only. Use only coupons/promotions issued to you by ETM or listed in our Awin feed. Code scraping/guessing or using obsolete/employee codes is not allowed.
Price parity: Public sitewide sales are commissionable if tracked, but we reserve the right to exclude heavily discounted or trial-only promotions.
No forced clicks / auto-redirects / interstitial hijacks.
6) Traffic quality & promotional rules
To protect our users and brand, the following are not allowed without written approval from ETM:
Paid Search (PPC)
No bidding on our brand or close variants: “Eat This Much”, “ETM”, our domain, misspellings/typos, or “+ coupon/discount” combinations.
No brand terms in ad copy or display URLs.
Add negative keywords to avoid accidental brand matching.
SEO & sites
No domain or subdomain that impersonates our brand (typosquatting or “official” language).
Disclose affiliate relationships per FTC/ASA/CMA guidelines on every relevant page/post.
Email
Must comply with CAN-SPAM/Spam Act/GDPR. Only mail opted-in recipients. No pretending to be ETM. Provide functional unsubscribe.
Software, extensions & toolbars
No adware, spyware, cookie stuffing, forced click events, post-transaction offers, or downloadable toolbars/extensions that modify user journeys.
Incentives & lead gen
Cashback/loyalty, reward, or incentive traffic requires prior written approval and clear disclosure to users.
Content standards
Be accurate about features and pricing. No deceptive or unsupported health/weight-loss claims. Do not offer medical advice; suggest users consult a healthcare professional as appropriate.
7) Creative assets & brand use
You may use ETM logos, banners, and approved screenshots as provided in Awin. Don’t alter logos, mimic our site, or suggest partnership/endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship.
Remove or update assets upon request within 5 business days.
8) De-duplication & channel conflicts
If multiple partners touch a user, Awin’s last-click rules apply.
We may de-duplicate against internal channels (e.g., house email, existing customer base) where appropriate.
We don’t pay commission on a user’s subsequent subscriptions after cancellation (see §1).
9) Data protection & privacy
Comply with all applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR/CCPA). Do not collect, store, or share ETM user personal data except as necessary to run your campaign and as permitted by law.
If we receive a user deletion request, we may remove attribution data; unmatched renewals will not qualify (§4).
10) Compliance checks, suspension & termination
We may review your traffic and request reasonable information to verify compliance.
We may suspend or remove any publisher for suspected violations, poor traffic quality, risk to users/brand, or for any reason at all.
We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice via Awin. Material changes affecting already-tracked customers will respect the then-current payout logic through the user’s existing billing cycle. We may terminate immediately for cause.
11) Geographic scope & taxes
Program is open where ETM operates and where Awin supports legal tracking and payouts. You are responsible for your own taxes and regulatory registrations.
