Rules for SEM and Sponsored Links

Paid Direct Linking
It is not allowed to send paid traffic directly to the advertiser.

Brand Name as a Keyword
It is not allowed to bid on keywords that contain the brand name or variations of it to drive traffic to the advertiser. Brand-related terms must also be added as negative keywords.

Brand Name in Ad Text
It is not allowed to include the brand name in the headline or body of the ad.

Brand Name in Display URL
It is not allowed to include the brand name in the ad’s display URL.

 

Advertising on Blogs & Social Media

One of the following disclosures must be clearly displayed at the top of the content and in every instance where affiliate links are used:

If part of the post contains Awin links, it must be labeled at the top with:
"This post contains advertising through affiliate links for x."*

For posts entirely dedicated to a specific advertiser(s), the post must be labeled at the top with:
"This post is an advertisement for x and contains affiliate links."*

Alternative label:
"Paid partnership with x"

Alternative label:
"Advertisement / Promotion for x"*

x = fill in with the name of the advertiser you are promoting

If these guidelines are not followed, we will be forced to terminate the collaboration.
 

Rules for SMS Marketing

All SMS campaigns must be approved before being sent out to verify that the content is correct. It is prohibited to use the advertiser’s name as the sender of the SMS. All SMS messages must include instructions for opting out of future messages.

 

Rules for Google Shopping

Google Shopping is not allowed in this program.
If you wish to work with Google Shopping, please email your request to sandra.sandstrom@bjornborg.com

Google Shopping must always be approved.

This applies to all search engines.

 

Rules for Discount Codes

It is NOT permitted to use discount codes from emails, print advertisements, or any other form of advertising that the advertiser sends directly to their customers.
Commission will not be paid for sales generated using these codes.

However, it is allowed to promote discount codes that the advertiser communicates directly through Awin or that are live on the advertiser’s online store.

 

Brand Strategy

The advertiser follows a clear brand strategy. This strategy, along with audience targeting, governs the selection of publishers.
If the advertiser feels that a publisher’s content or visual profile is not in line with the brand strategy, the application may be denied.
