Borough Kitchen Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions
By joining the Borough Kitchen Affiliate Programme via AWIN, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Any breach may result in withheld or reversed commission, and removal from the programme.
Commission & Validation
- Competitive commission is paid on all validated sales.
30-day cookie length applies.
Cancelled, returned, or fraudulent orders will not qualify for commission.
Commission will not be paid on sales of End-of-Line (EOL) or Ex-Display products.
Borough Kitchen reserves the right to reverse commissions on any orders that are cancelled, returned, refunded, unfulfilled, or identified as fraudulent at any time.
Voucher & Discount Codes
Commission will not be paid on sales generated via voucher or discount code sites unless the code has been specifically issued for affiliates and uploaded to Awin.
Affiliates must not promote or create their own codes without prior approval, or publish unapproved or misleading coupon offers for Borough Kitchen.
Cashback, loyalty, or reward partners must not incentivise clicks or use unauthorised vouchers to trigger commissions. Fraudulent activity or promotion of false offers will result in commission reversal and potential removal from the program.
PPC Policy
Affiliates are not permitted to:
- Bid on “Borough Kitchen” brand terms, misspellings, or derivatives in any PPC campaigns.
- Direct-link PPC ads to the Borough Kitchen website.
- Use “official”, “TM”, or similar wording in ad copy.
- Purchase, register, or license any domain names, subdomains, social handles, or URLs containing “Borough Kitchen” or variations/misspellings. This includes typos, abbreviations, or brand+generic keyword combinations (e.g. ‘boroughkitchenpans.com’).
- Engage in ad hijacking, including redirecting traffic from Borough Kitchen ads or using deceptive practices to capture traffic.
- Run remarketing campaigns targeting users who have visited Borough Kitchen’s official site.
Affiliates must add Borough Kitchen brand terms (and close variations) as negative keywords in their PPC campaigns to avoid accidental conflicts. -
Creative & Branding
- Affiliates may only use official Borough Kitchen creative assets supplied via AWIN, or those approved directly by the Borough Kitchen team.
- Logos, images, and copy must not be edited or misrepresented.
- Affiliates must not create content that mimics Borough Kitchen’s website or branding in a way that could cause confusion.
- Affiliates must not create content that misrepresents Borough Kitchen products, prices, or promotions, or that could damage the brand’s reputation.
- Affiliates must represent Borough Kitchen in a professional and accurate manner. Content that misleads customers, portrays the brand unfavourably, or uses offensive or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.A
Email & Promotion Policy
- Affiliates must not send unsolicited emails (spam).
- Any email activity must comply with GDPR and data privacy regulations.
- Affiliates are welcome to feature Borough Kitchen in their newsletters or email campaigns, but we ask that you use approved creative assets.
- If you are planning a dedicated Borough Kitchen email send, please get in touch with our team in advance so we can provide guidance and support.
- All marketing activity must comply with GDPR and applicable data privacy laws. Affiliates are solely responsible for ensuring their databases and targeting methods are fully compliant.
Prohibited Activities
Affiliates must not:
- Use bots, click fraud, cookie stuffing, or other fraudulent techniques.
- Promote Borough Kitchen via toolbars, browser extensions, or software add-ons.
- Publish misleading claims about products, pricing, or promotions.
- Run display, retargeting, or comparison campaigns without prior approval.
- Use fraudulent techniques such as forced clicks, fake impressions, spoofing, or artificial traffic generation.
- Run Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, CSS or other shopping comparison ads that include Borough Kitchen brand terms without prior written approval.
Sub-Affiliates
- Affiliates may not subcontract, resell, or pass programme access to sub-affiliates without prior approval. Affiliates are fully responsible for the conduct of any third parties they work with.
Notice Period
Please note – this programme operates with a 7-day closure notice period. During this period, commissions will continue to track as normal. After the notice period ends, the programme will be deactivated and no further commissions will be earned.
Termination
- Borough Kitchen reserves the right to remove affiliates from the programme at any time if terms are breached.
- Any pending commissions from prohibited activity will be reversed or declined.
- Borough Kitchen reserves the right to suspend or terminate affiliates immediately for breaches of these terms. Commissions may be withheld during investigation and reversed in cases of non-compliance.
Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by UK law. Borough Kitchen reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
