Terra Labs Affiliate Program - Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Terra Labs Affiliate Program. We're excited to collaborate with creators, designers, and publishers who share our love for better lighting, thoughtful design, and cozy corners. By joining through Awin, you agree to the terms below. These help protect our brand, your success, and our shared customers.
We'll notify you if anything changes, and the latest version will always be available in your Awin dashboard.
1. Brand Representation
We believe lighting should be fun, personal, and anything but generic. That's why we ask all partners to reflect Terra Labs' voice and style when sharing our work.
Use only approved logos, creatives, and product imagery provided via Awin, or taken in your own home in a style that reflects Terra Labs’ style as showcased in the provided imagery. If you need custom assets for a campaign or collaboration, reach out-we're happy to help with quick turnarounds.
Please don't alter our provided visuals or speak on behalf of our brand (but feel free to share your own take on what makes Terra Labs great).
2. Commission Structure
We offer 10% commission on approved sales, excluding shipping, tax, discounts, or returns. Higher rates may be offered to top-performing creators or content-driven partners.
Commissions are paid monthly following a 30-day validation window (to account for returns). You'll receive tracking and reporting via Awin.
We do not issue commission on:
- Orders using unauthorized discount codes
- Trade or B2B orders - Cancelled, returned, or fraudulent purchases
3. Cookie Duration
Our program includes a 30-day cookie window, meaning if a user clicks your affiliate link and purchases within 30 days, you'll earn credit for the sale.
4. Discount Codes and Promotions
Only promote discount codes provided by Terra Labs through Awin or directly by our team. Codes shared through welcome emails, SMS, or other customer-exclusive channels are not valid for affiliate use.
- Display all code terms and expiration dates clearly
- Don't use "click to reveal" features unless the code is valid and active
- Expired codes should be removed or marked clearly as inactive
5. Paid Ads and Brand Protection
To protect our small brand and creative search presence, affiliates may not:
- Bid on "Terra Labs" or any spelling variation in paid search or social ads
- Use our name in ad copy, display URLs, or domains (like terralabs-sale.com)
- Register social handles, YouTube channels, or domains using "Terra Labs"
You're welcome to feature Terra Labs on your own pages and profiles, just not in a way that impersonates or misleads. If you want to run paid ads or collaborate on a campaign, we're open to it-just email us first.
6. Approved Channels and Eligibility
We partner with creators and publishers who align with our mission of intentional, sustainable, joyful design.
However, we do not accept:
- Adult, misleading, or deceptive content
- Fake coupon or discount aggregator sites
- Drop-shipping or unauthorized resale sites
- Channels that do not reflect our brand values
We reserve the right to remove affiliates at any time if promotions don't meet our standards.
7. Creative Use and Updates
Please don't hard-code banners or assets. By using hosted assets from Awin, your content will stay fresh with our latest visuals and offers.
8. Social Media and Content Guidelines
We love seeing Terra Labs featured in real homes and real lives. Affiliates can share our products across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and blogs.
Please:
- Disclose that you're using affiliate links when required
- Avoid misrepresenting the brand or product experience
- Never pose as Terra Labs or speak on our behalf
If you're planning something fun or custom, we're all ears.
9. Program Integrity and Removal
We may pause commissions or remove an affiliate from the program for:
- Using unauthorized promo codes
- Violating paid search, content, or domain restrictions
- Engaging in deceptive or fraudulent promotion
- Misrepresenting our brand or values
We're always open to feedback and collaboration, so if something isn't clear, let us know.
10. Legal Compliance
Affiliates are responsible for making sure their promotions comply with all applicable laws and advertising standards, including:
- FTC affiliate disclosure requirements
- GDPR and data privacy laws
- CAN-SPAM rules for email marketing
- Awin's affiliate terms of service
You agree to indemnify Terra Labs for any claims resulting from your marketing activities.
