Xiaomi Affiliate Program General Terms & Conditions

 To ensure a high-quality, fair, and brand-safe environment for all partners, Xiaomi requires all affiliate publishers to comply with the following restrictions. Violations may result in commission cancellation, account suspension, or permanent removal from the program. 

--- Brand Guidelines 

- Publishers must not use Xiaomi trademarks, brand names, logos, or any variation thereof in their domain names, social media handles, or unauthorized creatives.

 - All creatives must be sourced from Xiaomi’s official affiliate asset library or pre-approved by the affiliate team. 

 

--- Paid Search (SEM) Restrictions 

- No bidding on Xiaomi brand terms (including variations or misspellings) on any paid search engine (e.g., Google Ads, Bing). 

- Direct linking to Xiaomi official sites from paid ads is strictly prohibited. 

- Brand+generic keywords (e.g., “Xiaomi smartphones”) are not allowed for bidding. 

 

--- Misrepresentation 

- Affiliates must not falsely represent themselves as Xiaomi or part of the Xiaomi organization. 

- Misleading claims, exaggerated discounts, or false urgency (e.g., “only 1 left”) are not allowed.

 

 --- Use of Vouchers and Coupons 

- Only officially provided or approved Xiaomi coupons may be promoted. 

- Affiliates are not allowed to create or promote unauthorized coupon codes or “fake discounts”.

 

 --- Email Marketing 

- Email campaigns must comply with GDPR and local privacy laws. 

- Do not impersonate Xiaomi or suggest the communication is sent directly from Xiaomi. 

 

--- Prohibited Channels

 - Incentivized traffic (e.g., cashback, loyalty, reward-based models) is not permitted unless pre-approved. 

- Toolbar, pop-up, pop-under, or software-based advertising is prohibited. 

- No traffic from illegal, adult, violent, or discriminatory content sources. 

 

--- Price Comparison & Deal Sites 

- Ensure pricing and availability are regularly updated (preferably via product feed).

- All claims regarding discounts, promotions, or product features must be accurate and current. 

 

--- Content Guidelines 

- Review and comparison content must be factual, balanced, and clearly marked as affiliate-driven where applicable. 

- Do not copy content directly from Xiaomi websites without permission. 

 

--- Fraud Prevention

 - Any attempts to generate artificial clicks, leads, or sales (e.g., self-referrals, bots, cookie stuffing) will lead to immediate disqualification.
