1. Commission & Attribution
- Standard rate: 15 % of net-paid order value (ex-VAT, shipping, refunds).
- Performance tier: 18 % once ≥ 100 approved sales in the same calendar month.
- Bespoke volume tier: negotiable up to 20 % for partners delivering ≥ USD 20 000 net sales per month.
- Attribution model: last click within a 30-day cookie window.
- Ineligible transactions: self-referrals or orders placed with the advertiser’s own discounts.
2. Validation & Payment
- Lock period: transactions lock 30 days after dispatch to allow for returns and fraud checks.
- Payout cycle: approved commissions are paid monthly, within 30 days after month-end, via the method selected in your Awin wallet.
- Minimum balance: USD 50 (or local equivalent) must be reached before funds are released.
- Orders cancelled, refunded, or subject to chargebacks will be reversed.
3. Traffic Sources & Compliance
Allowed – content sites (blogs, review & comparison portals, newsletters), influencers, opt-in email, social media, deal/coupon, price-comparison, loyalty/cash-back.
Prohibited – spam, forced clicks, adware, toolbars, autoscripts, incentivised traffic or claims that mislead consumers (e.g. “free product”), and any activity breaching Awin’s Code of Conduct.
- Sub-networks must supply complete click-path, sub-ID, and publisher details on request.
4. Paid Search (PPC) Policy
- Brand bidding forbidden: no use of “Clone”, “Clone Perfume”, or close misspellings in keywords, ad copy, display URL, or extensions—including brand + generic combinations (e.g. “Clone discount”).
- Add “Clone”, “Clone Perfume”, and variations as negative keywords.
- Direct-to-merchant links from search ads are not permitted; use a dedicated landing page.
5. Creative & Messaging Guidelines
- Use only creatives, product feeds, banners, text links, and voucher codes supplied in the Awin interface or bespoke assets pre-approved in writing.
- Do not alter logos, images, or promotional text without approval.
- All claims must be accurate and lawful; avoid “copy” or “replica”.
- Approved terminology: “inspired by”, “alternative to”, “similar scent profile”.
- Comparative references to designer brands require the disclaimer:
“Clone is an independent fragrance house and not affiliated with any luxury brand.” - When referencing brand values, highlight our sustainable packaging and high-quality, designer-inspired fragrances.
6. Voucher / Coupon Usage
- Promote only the coupons currently listed in Awin or provided directly by the Clone team.
- Unauthorised code use, scraping, or misrepresentation will lead to commission reversal.
7. Email & SMS Marketing
- Campaigns must target recipients with verifiable opt-in consent and include a clear unsubscribe link.
- “From” line and subject must not imply official Clone communication.
8. Social Media & Influencer Content
- Follow local advertising rules (FTC, ASA, etc.) and disclose with #ad / #sponsored.
- Do not run paid ads featuring competitor trademarks alongside Clone content.
9. Data & Privacy
- Comply with GDPR and all relevant data-protection laws.
- Customer data obtained via the program may only support order fulfilment analytics—no resale or independent profiling.
10. Program Management, Changes & Termination
- Participation is subject to manual approval by Clone and Awin.
- Clone may update non-financial terms with 7 days’ notice and commission rates or cookie duration with 30 days’ notice via the Awin platform.
- Either party may terminate participation with 30 days’ written notice; material breaches may result in immediate suspension.
