Effective Date: June 13, 2025

1. Trademarked Terms & PPC Bidding

Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on any trademarked terms, including official brand name, variations, misspellings, or any sequence with other keywords (e.g., “MorningBlues coupon”, “MorningBlues review”).

This applies across all PPC and content campaigns (Google, Bing, Facebook, etc.).

Affiliates may not include trademarked terms in ad titles, ad copy, display names, or display URLs.

Affiliates must add all trademarked terms and variations as negative keywords in their automatic or manual bidding campaigns.

Zero-tolerance policy: Any violations (including automated campaigns) will result in forfeiture of all commissions from the past 30 days, and commission rate set to 0%, without warning. 

2. Redirects & Linking Rules

Affiliates may not direct-link to the MorningBlues website from PPC ads or use cloaked/bridge redirects that bypass their own domain. All PPC traffic must first land on a page hosted on the affiliate’s site. 

3. Trademark Term Example

Trademarked Terms Include:
“MorningBlues” (capitalized, lowercase, any spacing/punctuation variants).

4. Creative Asset Usage

Affiliates must use only official branding assets and creatives provided through AWIN (logo, banners, text-links).

No modifications allowed (e.g., resizing, recoloring, cropping, combining with other elements).

Affiliate pages must not mimic brand website in design, layout, or user interface.

5. Coupon & Promotion Guidelines

Affiliates may only promote coupons directly provided via MorningBlues's AWIN account or public website.

Must display full coupon code, description, and expiration date.

No obfuscation, such as covered codes that reveal upon click. 

6. FTC Disclosure & Compliance

Affiliates must include a clear, prominent disclosure (e.g., “#ad” or “affiliate link”) when featuring brand affiliate links.

This disclosure must be visible above the fold and not hidden in footers or collapsed sections.

7. Enforcement & Penalties

First violation: Sale(s) denied, notification issued—affiliate must rectify within 48 hours.

Second violation: Commission void, account suspended for 7 days.

Third violation: Account terminated and reported to AWIN.
No commissions will be paid for violating sales and all past commissions related to the violations will be forfeited.

8. Updates & Notices

These guidelines are effective immediately as of the date above.

Any updates will be communicated via the AWIN interface or email, with a 7-day notice prior to enforcement.
