SHED Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions
The SHED affiliate programme is a UK-based programme, available by invite only.
By applying to join the SHED affiliate programme, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Any breach of these may result in removal from the SHED affiliate programme and reversal of commissions where deemed appropriate at our discretion.
Please note – this programme operates with a 7 day closure notice period
Branding Restrictions
You must follow SHED’s brand guidelines at all times. Please reach out to the SHED account management team for the most up-to-date brand copy and assets.
Affiliates must promote SHED responsibly and must avoid any activity that may be interpreted as spamming, misrepresentation, or any action that brings disrepute to our company, brand name(s), or suppliers.
Paid Search Policy
Affiliates must not register, appear, or bid on our pure brand terms, combined brand + generic terms, or common misspellings, unless PPC rights have been granted for a specific time period.
If such rights are granted, a list of approved keywords and match types will be shared. Use of unapproved keywords/match types is a breach of programme policy.
The use of the SHED URL or any variations is strictly prohibited in PPC ad copy or display URLs. The brand name “SHED” (or any variation) may not appear in display URLs or PPC text ads.
Domain Restrictions
Affiliates may not register domain names containing SHED’s trademarked terms, misspellings, or reformulations.
Any affiliate found purchasing such domains will be permanently removed from the programme, and any commissions owed will be reversed. We reserve the right to reclaim any such domains from registrants.
Use of SHED’s brand terms may be allowed in subdomains (e.g., shed.yourwebsite.com), but framing or masking the SHED website is strictly prohibited.
Commissions & Payments
Your commission rate will be shared via email by the SHED team. SHED does not publicly publish commission rates, as these vary depending on publisher and customer status (e.g. new vs. returning customer).
SHED reserves the right to change commission rates weekly. You’ll be notified of changes with 7 days’ notice via email, and any sales after this period will be subject to the new rate.
Commission is paid only on validated SHED product orders (validation occurs within 45 days). Only last-click tracked sales qualify. Commission excludes VAT and delivery charges. Cookie tracking lasts for 30 days.
Cancelled Orders & Commission Validation
Cancelled or uncollected orders will be invalidated within 4–5 weeks and will not earn commission.
If you have questions about commission status, please contact the SHED account management team.
Creatives
Affiliates must not alter any creatives provided via the Awin platform. Do not hardcode banners on your site unless you have prior approval. Hardcoded assets can become outdated and are subject to change.
If you require hardcoded banners, request permission from SHED’s account management team to ensure you’re notified of any required updates.
Email Marketing
You are permitted to send solus (single-focus) emails about SHED to your email database. However, you must follow SHED’s branding guidelines, AND have approval from SHED's account management team before sending. For questions or help with this, please contact us.
Social Media
Affiliates are allowed to promote SHED on their social channels, as long as SHED branding guidelines are respected.
You may not register or create any account as SHED, or give the impression you are representing the brand officially. You can promote SHED, but must not claim to speak for SHED.
Personal Data
All customer-specific or personally identifiable information shared on SHED’s website is the exclusive property of SHED. You are not permitted to access, collect, or store such data through any means or tools.
