Terms and Conditions

By applying to, and joining the ROCCABOX affiliate program, or accessing an affiliate link from a third party, or other partner within the ROCCABOX affiliate program, this agreement outlines the Terms and Conditions that will govern your participation and engagement through the Awin network.
 

BRAND SUMMARY

PROGRAMME RESTRICTIONS

Unless explicitly authorised otherwise, by the ROCCABOX Affiliate Team, the following Programme Restrictions will apply:

  • Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word ‘ROCCABOX’ or misspellings of ‘ROCCA BOX’ or ‘ROCABOX’ in the URL. For example, www.Roccabox.co.uk or www.Rocabox.co.uk. 
  • Affiliates must not include ‘ROCCABOX’, or misspelt variations of the same, in the sub-domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://Roccabox.mysite.co.uk. 
  • Affiliates must not include ‘ROCCABOX’, or misspelt variations of the same, in the HTML title tag.
  • Affiliates may use correctly spelt ‘ROCCABOX’ after the domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://www.mysite.co.uk/Roccabox. 
  • Affiliates are not allowed to register ‘ROCCABOX’ or any variation of it on any social media platform. This includes and does not limit to brand + generic word or sentence as well generic word or sentence + brand. Any attempt to register such social media accounts will be a direct breach of the Awin terms and conditions, in particular (section 7) Intellectual Property Rights of the Awin code of conduct. 
  • Affiliates must not post or tag any official ROCCABOX social media platform in order to attempt to drive visitors to their webpage, including but not limited to Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X. 
  • Direct linking to the ROCCABOX website from paid social media is prohibited.  

Any affiliates, subnetworks and/or affiliates of subnetworks, found to be in breach of these terms, will risk having their commissions set to zero, and potentially suspended from the programme, without further notice.

 

REPRESENTATION POLICY

  • All affiliates must make it clear, when promoting ROCCABOX, that they are not the official ROCCABOX website; this includes but is not limited to the creation and usage of mobile applications.
  • All affiliates cannot, under any circumstances, use the product feed to advertise on Google Shopping (http:// www.google.co.uk/shopping). In the event of a breach of this term, the affiliate will be removed from the programme immediately, and all commissions, past and present, set to zero and/or withheld. 
  • All affiliates agree not to put the ROCCABOX website into Frames, or the use of masked URLs.
  • All affiliates agree not to run any ‘Add to Favourite’ pop ups or campaigns on their sites, which may potentially lead the consumer to believe they are bookmarking the official ROCCABOX site.
  • All affiliates agree to allow users to navigate their site using the browser back button.
  • All affiliates agree not to include links or banners in any form of email or newsletter without prior consent of the Affiliate Team. ROCCABOX must receive written confirmation that any sent emails or newsletters are ‘opted-in’ for marketing purposes, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • All affiliates agree not to use ROCCABOX banners or links as pop-ups or pop-unders to your site.
  • All affiliates agree not to use the product datafeed to generate pop-unders from their site in the form of spawning, whereby a pop-under of a specific product from the ROCCABOX site, and relevant to the search terms, is used on a Search engine.
  • All affiliates agree not to alter any of the creatives or logos presented in the Awin interface, and agree to solely use only those that are available.
  • All affiliates agree to seek prior approval, at least a week before, to sending any solus emails with a ROCCABOX theme.

 

PPC POLICY

  • Affiliates are NOT allowed to bid on, or use, any of our URLs, trademarks, names, misspellings, extensions, or variations as keywords (within the goal of optimising for them), for any PPC platform (including Google Shopping), content platform or media buy, unless given prior permission by the ROCCABOX Affiliate Team, else risk suspension from the programme, without notice.
  • Affiliates must negatively match against all ROCCABOX brands, brand names, and stocked brands, and failure to do so will risk suspension from the affiliate program.

 

CSS

CSS activity is not permitted.

 

VOUCHERS AND DISCOUNT CODES

  • Affiliates may only promote vouchers codes which have been provided to them directly by the ROCCABOX Affiliate Team.
  • All affiliates approved to promote ROCCABOX, must do so in accordance with the terms and conditions prescribed to you by the Affiliate Team, who, upon approval, will guide you through the process for promoting voucher codes compliantly. 
  • Any affiliates found using non authorised voucher codes, or promoting voucher codes in a non-compliant manner, will have 24 hours to remove it, else risk suspension from the programme, without notice, with all commissions, past and present, potentially being reversed or withheld, in relation to the period the code was live, or non-compliant.
  • In all cases where, voucher codes are issued with an expiry date, this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed, or explicitly marked as expired, after the due date, unless advised otherwise by the Affiliate Team.
  • Any affiliates found to display expired codes, without marking them as expired, will risk suspension from the programme, without notice.

 

SITE SCRAPPING

All affiliates must request prior permission, from the Affiliate Team, in case of scrapping the ROCCABOX site.

 

UNSUITABLE CONTENT

ROCCABOX does not affiliate with, in any way, shape or form, businesses involved in the promotion and solicitation of:

  • Sexually explicit, violent, or defamatory material, and illegal activites
  • Gambling or related services
  • Discrimination based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Politics or political agendas
  • Pornography
