Terms and Conditions

Homebase Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions

As a partner on Homebase's affiliate programme, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Any breach of these conditions may result in termination from Homebase's affiliate programme and any commissions earned being reversed.

Domain Restrictions:

  • Affiliates are not permitted to register domain names with Homebase's trademarked terms or any misspellings or reformations.
  • Any affiliate registering such a domain will immediately and permanently be removed from Homebase's affiliate programme and any commissions due will be reversed. Homebase reserves the right to reclaim any such domains.
  • Brand bidding is an immediate break of terms and will result in suspension.

  • Voucher Code Use:

All voucher code use must comply with the official IAB guidelines. 

As well as the IAB guidelines, the below terms apply to Homebase's affiliate programme:

  • Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through Homebase's affiliate programme or provided directly from Homebase's affiliate manager. 
  • Affiliates are not permitted to display unauthorised voucher codes, affiliates found to do so may face reversed commissions.
  • Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date or specific terms, this information should be clearly displayed. Codes should be removed or clearly marked as expired after this date. 
  • Affiliates are not permitted to display voucher codes that were intended for use in other digital channels or for the use of other online affiliates.


Cashback Sites:

  • Cashback sites receive a 2% commission, unless exclusive rates / increases have been agreed.

  • Creatives and Branding:
  • Affiliates may not alter any of the creatives available through the AWIN interface.
  • Affiliates are requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so any updates made to those available in the interface will take immediate effect. If your site requires hardcoded banners, please contact Homebase's affiliate manager to obtain permission before putting this in place.
  • If you require a custom made banner that is not readily available in the AWIN interface then please contact Homebase's affiliate manager with your request.
  • Any blog or email marketing content must be signed off by Homebase before going live on any site. Any content released before approval from Homebase should be removed immediately until approval has been obtained.


Email Marketing:

  • Affiliates are permitted to send solus emails to their databases, however, Homebase's branding restrictions and guidelines must be adhered to. Before send-out, affiliates should obtain permission and creative sign off from Homebase.


Social Media:

  • Affiliates may feature Homebase on social media platforms, however, branding restrictions and guidelines must be adhered to. 
  • Affiliates are not permitted to use Homebase's brand when registering accounts on social media platforms or other digital channels.
  • Affiliates must never speak ‘as’ or ‘for’ Homebase, instead, they should only speak ’about’ or ‘promote’ Homebase and its products.
