Star RV Affiliate Program – Terms and Conditions (AWIN Platform)
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Star RV Australia Pty Limited Affiliate Program ("Program") operated via the AWIN network. By applying and participating, you ("Affiliate") agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1. Program Overview
The Star RV Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commission by referring eligible bookings made directly on https://www.starrv.com. The relationship is performance-based and governed through the AWIN affiliate marketing platform.
2. Promotional Methods
Affiliates may use the following approved promotional channels:
- Content websites and blogs
- Social media
- Loyalty, cashback, and rewards platforms
- Deal and coupon aggregators (with authorised codes only)
- Influencer platforms and video channels
- Mobile apps
- Directory and price comparison sites

Prohibited channels:
- Unsolicited email (spam)
- Paid search / PPC bidding (see Section 5)
- Use of Star RV brand assets without approval
- Toolbar or browser extension affiliate models
- Brand impersonation, domain squatting, or misleading ads
3. Coupon Code Policy
Authorized Coupon Codes:
- Only Star RV-issued or platform-communicated coupon codes are permitted.
Affiliates must clearly state that a coupon is required for any promoted price reduction (e.g., “Save 10% with code XYZ”). - Ensure that the terms and conditions of each coupon code are clearly stated and that the code is still valid at the time of promotion.
Use of unauthorised or scraped coupons will result in the forfeiture of commissions and potential removal from the program.
Prohibited Practices:
- Promoting unauthorized or expired coupon codes.
- Using generic statements like "Click to reveal code" without specifying the exact discount or offer.
- Engaging in "cookie stuffing" or other deceptive practices that mislead users into clicking on offers.
- Utilizing "refer-a-friend" codes or other non-affiliate approved discount codes.
4. PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Policy
PPC bidding is strictly NOT allowed.
Affiliates may not:
- Bid on any Star RV brand terms, variations, or misspellings
- Use Star RV URLs or brand names in ad copy or display URLs
- Redirect traffic directly from paid ads to the Star RV site
- Violations will result in immediate termination and reversal of all commissions.
5. Linking to Star RV
Affiliates must direct all traffic exclusively to the official Star RV website: https://www.starrv.com.
Permitted:
Use of AWIN-provided tracking links to direct users to https://www.starrv.com.
Deep linking to specific pages within the Star RV website, provided they are current and relevant.
Prohibited:
Framing or embedding the Star RV website within another site.
Redirecting traffic through intermediary pages that are not approved landing pages.
Use of outdated or broken links that may mislead users.
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that all links are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Regular audits are recommended to maintain link integrity.
6. Commission and Tracking
Commission is based on validated bookings referred through AWIN tracking links
Commission will not be paid for:
- Cancellations or no-shows
- Bookings made via unauthorised coupons
- Fraudulent, duplicate, or internal transactions
- Star RV reserves the right to adjust or decline commission based on booking eligibility
7. Termination
Star RV reserves the right to terminate any affiliate relationship at any time, with or without cause. Grounds for immediate termination include:
- Misleading promotion
- Trademark violations
- Use of unauthorised media
- Violation of AWIN’s or Star RV’s terms
8. Compliance & Disclosure
Affiliates must comply with:
Applicable laws (e.g., Australian Consumer Law, GDPR, Spam Act, FTC Guidelines)
Disclosure requirements – any paid or incentivised promotion must clearly state the commercial relationship
9. Brand Usage & IP
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use approved Star RV banners, logos, and assets solely for the purpose of driving traffic to https://www.starrv.com. Any other use must be pre-approved.
10. Relationship of Parties
The Affiliate and Star RV are independent contractors. No partnership, agency, or joint venture is created. The affiliate may not bind or represent Star RV in any capacity.
11. Limitation of Liability
Star RV is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising out of the affiliate’s participation. Star RV’s total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to the affiliate within the previous 6 months.
12. Amendments
Star RV reserves the right to update these terms. Continued participation following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Affiliates will be notified of material changes via AWIN communications.
