Our Story
Manawa was launched in summer 2016 by a team with a shared passion for outdoor and adventure sports—scuba diving, skydiving, rock climbing, hiking, surfing, and more. The idea for the project was born out of their own frustrations as outdoor enthusiasts, spending hours searching for the right offer, manually comparing websites, making reservations via phone or email, waiting days for confirmation, and facing language barriers along the way.
Recognizing that many of these adventure activities were not easily bookable online, they decided to help providers digitize their offerings, increasing their visibility while also simplifying the booking process for travelers. In just a few years, with a network of over 3,000 professional partners and more than 10,000 activities worldwide, Manawa.com has become the go-to platform for booking a scuba diving initiation in Greece, a canyoning adventure in Ardèche, a dog sledding experience in Quebec, a surfing lesson in Biarritz, and much more.
