STĀS Skincare Affiliate Brand Guidelines

The following branding guidelines ensure that all STĀS Skincare affiliates maintain consistency, accuracy, and integrity in their marketing and promotions. Affiliates must adhere to these guidelines to uphold the brand’s reputation and identity.

1. Brand Identity & Logo Usage

  • The official STĀS Skincare logo must be used as provided, without modification, distortion, or color changes.
  • The STĀS name must always be written as STĀS (with the macron above the 'A'). Any other variations or modifications are not allowed.
  • Logos must be used with adequate spacing and must not be placed over busy backgrounds or cluttered designs.
  • Affiliates may not create their own logos, icons, or brand assets that resemble STĀS' branding.
  • Prior approval is required for the use of the STĀS logo in any promotional materials not provided by STĀS.

2. Approved Messaging & Claims

  • Affiliates may only use product descriptions, benefits, and claims officially provided by STĀS.
  • No exaggerated, misleading, or unverified claims about product performance, skincare benefits, or medical effects may be made.
  • Approved brand positioning statements:
    • "Where Asian Skincare Science Meets LA’s Effortless Style."
    • "Clinically Proven, Naturally Effective."
    • "Advanced Stem Cell Science for Your Skin."
  • Affiliates may not compare STĀS products to competitor brands in a negative or misleading way.

3. Brand Representation & Tone

  • STĀS is positioned as a science-driven, high-performance, and ethical skincare brand. All marketing must align with this tone.
  • The brand voice should be clean, informative, and trustworthy, without exaggerated or sensational claims.
  • Affiliates must not present themselves as official STĀS representatives or imply direct employment or partnership beyond the affiliate relationship.
  • Any language that misrepresents the brand, products, or founders is strictly prohibited.

4. Restricted Promotional Practices

  • Domain & Social Media Usage:
    • Affiliates may not use "STĀS" or "STĀS Skincare" in domain names, social media handles, or website titles without prior written approval.
  • Paid Advertising Restrictions:
    • The use of STĀS branding in paid search ads (Google Ads, Bing Ads), Google Shopping, or social media advertisements is prohibited unless explicitly approved.
  • Reselling & Third-Party Platforms:
    • Affiliates may not sell STĀS products on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy).
  • Deceptive Marketing Practices:
    • Affiliates must not use misleading urgency tactics (e.g., fake countdown timers, false "limited stock" claims).
    • No unauthorized discount codes or false pricing information may be promoted.
    • Affiliates must not engage in spammy, clickbait-style, or aggressive marketing tactics.

5. Content & Imagery Usage

  • Approved Images:
    • Affiliates must use high-resolution, unaltered images provided by STĀS or taken with prior approval.
    • Product images must be displayed accurately and cannot be heavily edited or filtered.
  • Prohibited Imagery:
    • Competitor brand logos or misleading comparisons.
    • Poor-quality or misrepresented product photos.
  • Aesthetic Guidelines:
    • Content should align with STĀS' brand aesthetic: clean, modern, minimalistic, and high-quality.
    • Images should have soft, natural lighting and a professional look.

6. Social Media & Influencer Content

  • Affiliates posting on social media must clearly disclose their relationship with STĀS, such as:
    • "This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission on purchases made through these links."
    • Use of hashtags such as #STĀSAffiliate or #STĀSPartner.
  • All social media content must align with STĀS' brand values and maintain professionalism.
  • Affiliates must not engage in offensive, controversial, or harmful discussions while representing STĀS.
  • Sponsored posts must be approved before publishing if they contain product claims or promotions.

7. Compliance & Enforcement

  • Affiliates who fail to follow these guidelines may receive a warning, have their commissions reduced, or be removed from the affiliate program.
  • STĀS reserves the right to request content modifications or the removal of any content that does not align with brand standards.
  • Repeated violations may result in permanent suspension from the program.
