Prohibited Activities
The following sites will be rejected or immediately suspended for the following activity:
Promoting adult/explicit or offensive content.
Promoting gambling, bad debt, tobacco, illegal, or misleading activity.
Affiliate Guidelines
In addition, please follow these guidelines:
No SEA (Search Engine Advertising): Do not engage in paid search campaigns.
No bidding on brand, broad brand, or typo: Affiliates must not bid on any of the brand name, broad brand terms, or misspelled keywords in search engines.
No content that violates applicable law or offends common decency: Affiliates must ensure that their content complies with all applicable laws and ethical standards.
CSS (Comparison Shopping Services) Terms
1. Pre-approval Required: Affiliates planning to use Comparison Shopping Services (CSS) must obtain prior written approval from us before bidding on any branded terms or using our products in paid search ads.
2. No Bidding on Branded Terms: Affiliates may not bid on the brand name, broad brand terms, or any variations or misspellings (typos) of the brand name unless explicitly authorized. This applies to all search engine advertising platforms.
3. Negative Keywords: Affiliates must use negative keyword targeting to prevent competing with our own paid ads. This is to ensure that affiliates are not inadvertently bidding on the same branded terms used in our own campaigns.
4. Data Feed Compliance: Affiliates must utilize the approved data feeds provided for CSS campaigns. Unauthorized scraping or data collection from the website is prohibited.
5. No Performance Max Campaigns: Affiliates are not permitted to use Google's Performance Max campaigns targeting branded keywords unless granted explicit prior written consent.
