Branding Guidelines
Publishers may use the Hywell brand name, logo, approved product images, approved banners, and approved promotional copy only for the purpose of promoting Hywell through the Awin affiliate program.
Publishers must use current Hywell creatives and product information provided through Awin or directly by Hywell.
Brand Usage
Publishers may:
- Refer to Hywell as “Hywell” or “Hywell Store” or “Hywell Socks”
- Use approved Hywell logos and product images
- Use current Merino Wool Work Socks product images and copy
- Link to current Hywell product pages or the Merino Wool Work Socks collection
- Mention approved product points such as long shifts, work boots, hard floors, full-foot cushioning, reinforced heel and toe, and Merino wool comfort
Publishers must not:
- Modify, stretch, recolor, distort, or recreate the Hywell logo
- Use the Hywell logo in a way that suggests ownership, employment, certification, or official endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship
- Use Hywell branding on unrelated products, discontinued products, or competitor products
- Register domains, subdomains, usernames, social handles, or ad accounts containing “Hywell” or confusingly similar misspellings
- Impersonate Hywell or create pages that look like an official Hywell website
Product and Creative Rules
Hywell’s current affiliate focus is the Merino Wool Work Socks collection.
Publishers must not use old athletic socks images, old running socks images, discontinued product images, outdated banners, outdated product descriptions, or old campaign copy from previous Hywell promotions.
If Hywell updates, removes, or replaces creatives, publishers are expected to stop using outdated materials and replace them with current approved assets.
Approved Product Claims
For Hywell Merino Wool Work Socks, publishers may use the following claims:
- Built for long shifts, hard floors, and work boots
- 53% Merino Wool / 38% Nylon / 9% Spandex
- 2mm full-foot terry loop cushioning
- Reinforced heel and toe
- Helps manage moisture and odor during long workdays
- 10-Year Warranty on Merino wool socks only

Prohibited Claims
Publishers must not use misleading, exaggerated, medical, or unsupported claims, including:
- Made in USA
- Waterproof
- Lifetime Warranty
- Cure, treat, heal, or medical relief claims
- Guaranteed no odor
- Zero sweat
- Never wears out
- Best socks in the world
- All Hywell socks have a 10-Year Warranty
The 10-Year Warranty applies to Merino wool socks only.
Social Media and Content
Publishers must clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required by law, platform rules, or advertising guidelines.
Publishers must not create misleading reviews, fake testimonials, fake discounts, fake scarcity claims, or content that misrepresents Hywell products.
