Vice & Virtue Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
In effect from December 1, 2024.
This Affiliate Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is made by and between Vice & Virtue ("Vice & Virtue") and you as an Affiliate ("Affiliate") utilizing the Awin platform service ("the Service").
By registering as an Affiliate and using the Service, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service as an Affiliate.
Summary of Terms
Content Placement:
- Affiliates may place Vice & Virtue banners and links on their websites or in non-spam emails.
- Any page containing Vice & Virtue links or content must be in English.
Prohibited Sites:
- Affiliate links cannot be placed on websites that promote adult content, hate speech, or illegal activities.
Approved Links:
- Affiliates must only use approved links from the provided product feed or platform interface. Direct linking to Vice & Virtue websites outside the platform is prohibited.
PPC and Domain Restrictions:
- Affiliates are strictly forbidden from running Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on any search engine.
- Affiliates may not register, buy, or use domains or subdomains that may mislead users to believe they are affiliated with Vice & Virtue.
- Affiliates may not create websites impersonating Vice & Virtue or suggest affiliation beyond their role as an Affiliate.
Email Marketing:
- Affiliates must obtain written approval from the Vice & Virtue team before sending any emails related to the program.
Social Media Advertising:
- Affiliates may not misrepresent Vice & Virtue’s identity on social media.
- Affiliates must clearly identify themselves in any promotions conducted on social media platforms.
Coupon and Incentivized Traffic:
- Affiliates may only advertise coupon codes distributed by Vice & Virtue.
- Sales generated through unauthorized coupon codes will be voided.
- Affiliates may not promote coupon codes issued outside the affiliate channel.
- Incentivized traffic is allowed only from cashback and loyalty/reward affiliates.
Prohibited Advertising Methods:
- Affiliates are not allowed to use pop-ups, pop-unders, or intrusive formats.
- Cookie stuffing techniques that force cookies into user browsers are prohibited.
- Affiliates may not promote Vice & Virtue through toolbars without prior authorization.
Fraud Prevention:
- Fraudulent activities, such as artificially inflating sales, leads, or clicks using bots, scripts, or other deceptive means, will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of commissions.
Affiliate Conduct
Creative Use:
- Affiliates may not alter creative materials provided by Vice & Virtue.
- Hardcoding banners or assets requires prior approval to ensure timely updates.
Transparency:
- Affiliates must be transparent in all communications, clearly identifying themselves as third-party marketers rather than official representatives of Vice & Virtue.
Compliance:
- Affiliates are required to comply with all local and international laws related to advertising and marketing.
Affiliate Payments
- Commissions will be pre-approved after orders are placed and confirmed.
- Payments operate on a 7-day cycle and are subject to order completion.
- Delays may occur for products requiring additional confirmation.
Modifications to Terms and Services
Vice & Virtue reserves the right to change, modify, or discontinue any aspect of this Agreement or the Affiliate Program at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, allowing Affiliates to accept the changes or withdraw from the program.
Cookie Policy
Vice & Virtue operates a 30-day cookie policy.
Privacy Policy
Vice & Virtue respects Affiliate privacy and will not share personal information without express permission. For questions, contact social@viceandvirtueskin.com.
Violations
Affiliates violating any terms outlined in this Agreement will be removed from the program, and any pending commissions will be forfeited.
