Discounts & Vouchers
- Expired discounts and vouchers must be removed from your website upon the day of expiry.
- Expired discounts and vouchers must not be communicated in any form to consumers.
- Only official discounts and vouchers communicated by the Affiliate Account Manager may be promoted by an affiliate.
- Discounts and vouchers may not be promoted as eligible to be combined with another form of discount, voucher, or cashback unless explicitly stated by the Affiliate Account Manager.
Validation of sales where a voucher code has been used
- To help monitor affiliate use of voucher codes, Melora Honey has implemented voucher code tracking through Shopify. This allows individual codes used within a transaction to be listed next to each order number.
- Melora Honey reserves the right to decline any sales that have been tracked with an unauthorised voucher code, whether this code was promoted on the site or not.
Bulk Orders
- Melora Honey reserves the right to refuse commission on wholesale orders.
SEO
- Affiliates must update ad copy featured in search engine page results to ensure it is consistent with the latest Melora Honey products, offers, discounts, and vouchers.
PPC Policy
- Brand name bidding restrictions apply to the Melora Honey programme.
- Affiliates are not allowed to bid on the brand name or brand-plus-generic terms, or any derivation or misspelling; e.g. Melora Honey, Melora UK, Manuka Honey Melora.
- Affiliates are also not allowed to bid on terms where Melora Honey appears in the top 10 natural search listings for generic terms, but not above their own PPC activity. To avoid broad match issues, affiliates must include restricted terms as negative keywords in all PPC campaigns for Melora Honey.
- Affiliates are not permitted to use any domain owned by Melora Honey as their display URL for PPC. This includes but is not limited to https://melora.co.uk/.
- Affiliates wishing to promote Melora Honey via PPC through the use of a landing page should first contact us. PPC affiliates who apply for the Melora Honey programme without prior communication may find their application declined.
- Affiliates found contravening these terms may have their commissions declined and face immediate suspension from the programme.
Domain Restrictions
- Affiliates are not permitted to register domains similar to or misspellings of the Melora Honey brand. Any activity of this kind will result in commissions being declined and retrieval of the domain.
Creative
- Affiliates must use only the creative assets available within their affiliate account for their promotion of Melora Honey. Please contact us if additional sizes are required.
- Affiliates are requested not to hard-code banners into their sites so that updates made to the creative through Shopify will take effect automatically. Melora Honey launches new banners each season and provides promotional banners on an ad-hoc basis.
Notice and Action
- Affiliates agree to action and remedy any request that brings them back in accordance with the Melora Honey programme terms within 7 UK working days. Exceptions to this rule are at the discretion of the Affiliate Account Manager.
Breach of Terms
- Melora Honey reserves the right to withhold commission payments from any affiliate found to be in breach of these terms.
